They screwed their own driver too! Kasey Kahne is still trying to get in the Chase and more than likely will not finish the top 6(this coming from a major KK fan!) so that was stupid. Now Coors needs to have a Shootout for the pole winners like the Bud Shootout was. I doubt I will watch it. hold, i believe it's the top 6 of each manufacturer. Kahne the only dodge driver capable of coming close to winning. But do they have to finish in the top 12? If aksey doesn't get in(and thats looking likely) there is absolutely NO Dodge in the top 12. i don't think that matters as long as he is one of the top 6 dodges. That's why stremme likely will be in the shootout instead of newman seeing as stremme will probably be in the 12 car. Yeah, it's the top 6 from each manufacturer, so there will be the top 6 Fords, top 6 Chevys, top 6 Dodges, and top 6 Toyotas. Basically, it's going to turn into a bonus race for Rousch, Hendrick, and Gibbs, since there isn't a dominant Dodge team. Exactly, I hate it. Their are drivers that deserve to be in the race that are not, and drivers that don't deserve it that will be in, no offense to them, but this whole concept is stupid.

What I want to know is...What will Coors do about it? Will they ask for another allstar pole race on a latter date.

I like the idea but its ridiculous. I dont think it would fly with Nascar cause then there would be the Coors pole award shootout, the Bud Shootout, and the All-Star race. Too many.

Maybe they could have the Coors pole race the week before Daytona, and move the Bud Shootout to after race 26, have it consist of the 12 chase drivers, and have them be able to earn bonus points for where they finished, like have the top 3 spots give points, and 4th on back gets nothing. Sort of like the opening celebration for the chase.

i think the schedule is too long to have any more bonus races. They realistically only get 3 weeks to relax a year.
