Okay, so my family right now has dialup and it sucks!!!! We hope to have high-speed up by the end of this month (end of September). I love high-speed because you can do soo much more with high-speed than with dialup.
Opinionate, please. ~Margem

I can barely even remember dial-up. We got broadband before I started using the computer as much as I do now. I don't even know anyone with dial-up any longer. Except for you, that is. At times.

Well, Comcast "lost" our order and has tried to double the cost of the service, of which my parents are not willing to pay. So, we're not getting high speed (as of this point and esp. not from Comcast).
So much for studying at home Wed/Fri nights.....

Several times, actually, upping the ante each time.

You really don't realize how bad dialup is until you get used to working with high-speed.
My mom's mom-and-step-dad don't use the internet enough to want/need high speed, although Grandmother does get fed up when she's trying to check her e-mail.
My mom's dad-and-step-mom had dial-up for the longest time. I don't know what they have now.
My dad's mom-and-step-dad are on the computer a lot. They have high-speed wireless. And Papa has like, six computer monitors in his 'office.' He uses all of them, and five out of the six have some kind of weather website on them.
My dad's dad-and-step-mom have wireless, I think. But I never use it at their house. I hardly ever see them, so it's not like I'm really there to know, anyway. <<;
But one of my friends is stuck on dial-up, and she hates it. Her Wii has high-speed, though. x3
