"Hmmmm, the damage to this place isn't quite as bad as I thought." The man said as he studied one of the broken pillars.
"I could probably summon something to fix this."
~ooh, ooh, summon those rat guys!~
"You mean the Rat Construction Crew?"
~Yeah, i love those guys.~
After giving himself a weird look. He shrugged, and reached into his coat, pulling out a piece of chalk and kneeling down onto the ground. Clearing a spot free of dust with his free hand as he started to rapidly draw a rather large summoning circle ont he ground. The sounds of his chalk hitting and scraping along the ground echoed in the empty section of the citadel.

Quinta's eyes widened as Zander spoke of seeing seals like the ones that bound her before. So great was her shock, that she couldn't find her voice for awhile. Even as he told her his true name she remained still and silent, frozen in place like the piller she was leaning against. It was only as he finally fell silent himself that she snapped out of her dazed like state and spoke. "You've seen them before!? Where? When?!" She leaned rather close to him, her nose inches away from his as she stared intently into his eyes. Cluching his arm with a grip the belayed a strength that one would not think the small sheep anthro would have, she was pratically frantic.
Not even the fact that he made reference to her ability to form bonds when she never told him or anyone else about it could distract her now. His name was echoing inside her mind though. K'hos mhakul, a name that she would not be forgetting anytime soon. Afterall, she had to be able to find him again, and the risk of forgetting it was high.
Thats when Bagel approached and distracted her when she was determined to let nothing break her concentraition. Blinking in suprise, she released Zander's arm and returned to her origional sitting position. It took her a few moments to remember what it was Bagel was talking about, but as she lowered a hand to the ground and touched the base of the piller, the memory came back to her. Quite a forgetful little anthro isn't she? "A favor?" Gazing up at him with a confused look on her face as she repeated the word, Quinta was a comical figure to look upon.
Sitting with her legs outstretched and hooves poking out from under her cloaks once again, her arms dangled down on either side making her look like a kind of doll again. Although she didn't resemble a broken doll anymore. Her hat was sitting next to her, the cord having come undone when she pratically pounced on Zander. Her face, however, was what made her look so ridiculas (sp?). Head tipped to the right so that her snowy hair and it's random pleats fell away from her eyes, slightly pointed ears perked up from inside the loop of her rough blue grey horns, and her mouth curled in what looked like a mix between a smile and frown so that one side was arched ever so slightly upwards, while the other side curved down.

Bagel was a firm believer in the concept of balance and karma. Not to be confused with law of equal exchange in alchemy but rather the concept of karma and chi. And at this moment he felt he was indebted to the little sheep girl. She had aided him without expecting anything in return and that is the exact reason why he should do something in return. He really hated to be indebted at all. obligations and responsibilities that were not originally his idea seemed to bother him. And typically if anybody tried to force him to do something he would become spiteful and stubborn and refuse do it.
"Yes a favor milady. I fell it is only fair to you that I do something for you in return for you aiding me in my previous predicament. I do very much appreciate your kind thoughts" bagel let his eyes take her in more fully than he had previously. Her variations in her eyes showed a lot of power almost frightening. yet he could tell she was constrained. At that point he noticed the odd black material upon her wrists. It was obviously a magically formed material. Something like that would be near impossible to transmute without throwing himself into a coma.
Bagel noticed the fatigue he had felt was creeping up on him a bit more readily. Realizing that his kneeling position was possibly the cause of this tiring stress he now felt in his shins and knees. He responded to teh pain by sitting down. the flow of blood returned to normal made the pain fade quickly.
"anything at all milady"

Zandar nearly rolled backwards in surprise when she pretty much pounecd on him, and when Bagel distracted her, he took that time to think. Those seals... where did I see them? He thought to himself and searched his memories. He thought back to the most likely places and times he would have seen them. He thought of his acquaintances, a friend's potion laboratory... the research lab and dwelling place of his favorite wind wizard... Every time coming up with nothing.
His mind finally came to a remote laboratory owned by a crazy old wizard. The symbol was etched onto a wall. It was part of the wizards "research" that, unfortunately, led to his demise. Some sort of portal he created that destroyed him and his research... in an incredibly horrific manner. He waited for Bagel to finish talking with Quinta to relate his story.
He waited silently and intently listenened to them. He continued thinking, hoping he could find another time he had found it. He couldn't think of any other wizard or anyone else he had ever met to have used that symbol, either still living or no longer, except for an old enemy... either way, that necromancer would never give up his research, so he retired to examining Bagel.

Shaking her head in a mild manner, Quinta smiled at Bagel as he clarified why he owed her a favor. As far as she was concerned him just comming over to talk to her was favor enough, but others often had a hard time understanding why she would think so. It was also rather hard for her to explain her home condition. Before when she told people about her 'home' they started to freak and tried to convience her to go home with them instead of going back to that cell. Now she choose to keep that a secret. People like that scared her, but thats only because she didn't know any better.
"What's your name? As far as I'm concerned that would be favor enough." Smiling brightly she went over the names that she had collected today. The bat girl's name was already kind of fuzzy, compliments of her bad memory, but Zander's true name was clear in her mind. It was one of those that was hard to forget, luckly for her. Hopefully she would be able to remember it later when they parted ways.
It was then that she felt a cold shiver run up her spine. Flicking her gaze to the far side of the Citadel she was just in time to see a dark gray cloaked figure enter the market area. Grabbing her hat, she fastened it back on and pulled her knees up to her chest so that her hooves were hidden under her cloak. Focusing on Bagel, she forced herself to ignore the seemingly plain character. There was something about her caretakers that caused others to pass them by without really noticing them or giving them a second glance. If she was going to aviod having to go back home, she was going to have to ignore him as well.
She could feel his gaze drift over her, Bagel, and Zander, but breathed a sigh of relief as the feeling passed. Glancing out of the corner of her eye, she felt even more relief as he turned and left the Citadel. She was safe for now. It was a good thing that she bought these cloaks and the hat earlier in the day. Wearing only white and grey all the time caused them to look for her clothes so as to pick her out of crowds. Colorful clothing often knocked them off guard for awhile. Smiling easier, she returned her attention to Bagel. For now she could continue talking to her new friends.

( I apologize for my sudden dissapearence-- pressing family issues whisked me away and petty arguments kept me at bay. Today is the first time I have touched the damned computer in a week and the way s**t has been going lately, I'm only staying long enough to say I'll return sometime this weekend at best...
That is to say if I don't get locked out of the damned computer against my knowledge.... again.

Being a very "unable to socialise" person, Falcona was sitting on a bench within the marketplace, reading silently. Another flick of a page and a heavy sigh can be heard, which shows that the book was indeed boring. Another more hesitant flick before the book was slammed shut, the slam seemed to echo only for a second as the marketplace drowned it. Glancing up and around, Falcona noted her surroundings and slowly tossed the book to the ground, which slowly disappated into tiny dust particles. Coughing slightly as the dust rose to somewhat choke her, she made a mental note to brush up on her incineration technique, especially with books.
Standing up, she brushed a strand of hair from her face and headed towards a stall, where she noted a strange round orange fruit. Upon closer inspection, she found it to be an orange and proceed to buy it, a metaphoric sweatdrop can be seen. Paying the stall owner and thanking him, Falcona wandered away, her ankle-length black cloak seem to sway behind her. She was very fond of the cloak, being a gift of a friend, for what seems like decades ago. It also hid her knee-length black skirt, of which she found rather "revealing", compared to the chinese-type sleeveless top, the collar aggravating her a bit. Finding another bench, (she seems fond of just sitting around) she decided to have a bite, the orange she bought now in hand. Cutting it into wedges, she ate in silence, listening somewhat to her sorroundings.
(( First post and it looks short...Have not really much time now becuse of exams but it will lengthen (ie words) ^^' ))
