Kris waved back to Jo's parents before following Jo out and onto the the open road. She turned on her radio and then placed her cd from all the sound tracks from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and turned it to number 3 "You can't take me" and started to sing along.

It took at least 8-9 long, agonizing hours till they reached Vancouver. Along the way they had stopped every few hours to get drinks or to walk their horses around. Also they made some enemies and friends along the way. Trailers and trucks were everywhere on the road, going their way and back. Upon seeing the sign for the Horse show, Jo sighed in relief, being able to finally find after a few hours, which she knew made Kris mad. When she reached the field, she parked next to another trailer on the grass, taking and putting her keys into her pocket, she got out of the truck before going and looking around for Kris, who was still looking for a parking space. Smirking slightly to herself, Jo headed to the trailer to let Distance get some fresh air. "Alright girl.....we're finally here....." Snorting and stomping her hooves she led the mare out of the trailer and walked her around to let her stretch her legs, which is exactly what the mare did before rolling around on the ground. Jo laughed as she held onto the lead rope. Once she was walked, Jo went and tied her to the trailer, going and getting the corral set up.

Kris frowned as she tried to find a parking space. Once she did she jumped out of the truck and looked around sighing happily that they made it here. She looked towards the mountians that where rested far behind the stable. "Wow." Was all Kris could say. She smiled and then went to the back of the truck, hearing Gold whinny and stomp his hooves inpateintly. She opened the trailer door and softly laded it on the soft grass and walked into the trailer before leading Gold out. Gold snorted happily his ears prickerd forewards going back and forth listing to all the strange sounds and taking in the new air. The stallion looked towards the far mountains and whinnied. Kris smiled and patted the stallion. "Finally where here, aee boy?" Kris said smiling as she walked Gold around, to get his legs stable after staying in the truck for 3 hours from their last walk. Once he was walked, Kris fed him 2 carrots and tied him to the trailer walking around trying to find Jo.

When Jo finished setting up the corral for Distance, she untied the mare before placing her in it, making her whinny and snort before lowering her head to graze. Looking to her watch she noticed that they had a bit of time before the shows started. Looking around, Jo found Kris looking for her and smiled before waving her over. "I'm over here Kris...." She yelled, making Distance look up startled and whicker. "Whoops....sorry girl....didn't mean to scare ya...." Walknig over she sighed softly. "God....this is amazing isn't it....?" Jo said while looking around at the scenery.

Kris smiled and walked over to Jo, waving. Once next to her she smiled and nodded. "It is. Maybe before we go home, we could take the horses up to the mountains for a ride." Kris said, looking back over to Gold who was pawing at the ground inpatintly. "Be right back." Kris said jogging over to Gold. "C'mon boy." Kris said untieing the lead rope and leading him over to Jo onto the grass and let the stallion graze.

((A Few Hours Later))
When the annoucements came on for the shows to begin, Jolissa looked to see everyone now going to either take a seat or take part in the show. Glancing over to Distance, she smiled as the Black Arabian mare snorted and pawed at the ground. "Alright girl....I'll just go and get our number quick then we'll both get ready...." Jo smiled again as the mare snorted in agreement, going back to grazing. Sighing softly, Jo looked and walked around carefully to try and find the entry table. Finding it soon, she went over, motioning Kris to come with her as she walked up to the lady. "Do you need a number miss?" "Yes I do....and so does my friend....." Jo replied while pushing some hair away from her face and motioning to Kris standing beside her. Once they put their information on the papers, Jo recieved their numbers which were 178 and 225, she headed back to the tent to get dressed and ready.

Kris retrived her number wich was 225 and followed Jo into the changing tent. She looked out of the tent to check on the stallion, who was waiting inpatiently as he was tied by the trailer. Kris walked over to her bag where her clothes where.

Sighing and taking a deep breath, Jo unclipped Distance from the trailer and then began walking over into the ring. Looking over at to see who would be judging them today, she noticed it was someone totally unknown to her. Biting her lip, she stood at where their names were, then she pulled out her number and put it on her sleeve. Jo looked over to her right and saw Kris standing at least 4 or 5 down from her. She waved and smiled quickly before attending to Distance's coat, mane, tail and hooves. She was quite glad that they were able to have some time to make sure the horses looked presentable enough.

Quickly getting changed, Kris stamped her number on her back. Tieing her hair in a high pony-tail she walked out of the tent and over to Gold. Pulling out a body brush, Kris worked quietly on his coat. Once his coat was done, and it shined, Kris started on his snow white mane, making it to be so soft. She was planing to leave it loose, and not tie it like the other riders where doing. Returning the wave, Kristina went back to work.
