Aberi was clearly not in the best of moods as she stared down at her reflection in the water. Despite her appearances and usual mood, she was a quiet creature with little reason to hurt others. When need-be, she was a downright demon to be around and would bite others with little hesitation on whom it was. She sighed and splashed her paw through the water, eliminating the flat calm surface.

Koray laid silently on a tree's thick branch. One that would easily hold his body. His split tail flicked slightly below him as he slept. A sound in the distance, water splashing, caught his attention and his snake like eyes snapped open. A low, deep growl escaped his chest as he looked around for what was disturbing his rest. His legs stretched as he got himself ready to possibly attack whoever it was. Now he wasn't happy at all, of couse he never was happy. One of the worst thing another could do while around Koray was wake him up. His nose twitched slightly as he sniffed... another ulaya.

Aberi's ear twitched slightly, and she turned her head, not really looking to where the male laid. Her red eyes were hidden behind half-lidded eyes, a lazed expression on her face, but her senses were on alert for anything. She stood up and shook her fur, the red ridge of fur along her spine fluffing slightly. She would give the first impression of a rather serene Ulaya, if it wasn't for the fact that two white, sharp fangs protruded past her lips. She finally raised her eyes to rest them upon the figure so well hidden in the tree. "What? Too scared to come down?" She said, raising a brow in a rather comical fashion, mocking him.

Koray eyed the female for a moment. His slit eyes narrowing slightly as he thought. The female seemed a worthy opponent. Another idea popped into his head and he simply smirked. The idea was rather vicious, but he didn't care. "No my dear, simply too lazy." He continued to lounge on his tree branch, looking down at her. Koray decided to wait, only a few more moments. His burning tail flicked back and fourth as he eyed her and a yawn escaped his maw. "Woke me up from a nice, blood filled dream."

Aberi laughed quietly. "You know that laziness is a sin, don't you?" She said, grinning, her crimson eyes not leaving the male. "But of course, you would know that, or stupidity would be quite apparent." She let out another reedy laugh. Her ears perked slightly at the mention of blood, and she grinned. "What lovely dreams they must have been then, hmm?" She said, settling back on the grass to continue to stare up at him. Her eyes followed the bright flames that tipped his tail for a moment, almost in a hypnotized fashion, before they settled once more on the male's face.

Koray looked at the female and seemed to be ignoring her laughter. Laughter always seemed to annoy the male. "Does it look like I care what is and isn't a sin?" He yawned once more then laid his head back down, glancing down at the female on the ground. This was nice, a female having to look up to him in order to talk. When he glanced at her once more, he noticed her eyes following his tail. A smirk appeared on his maw. Most others seemed mezmorized by his tail... this female was obviously not that different.

Aberi snapped her teeth together in an annoyed fashion, her eyes narrowing as he smiled in a smug way down at her. "You know only little cubs tease girls." She stated, wanting so badly to bite his muzzle, erase that smile from his face. She raised her paw, and began to lick at it, trying to calm the swirl of insane thoughts that pervaded her mind, the feral thoughts that were hers.

Koray lifted an eyebrow at the female's words. "Tease? I don't believe I am teasing you in anyway." He said, standing up on the tree branch and stretching out his legs a little. After a moment, he decided to jump down to the female's level. His long tail flicked as he took a step closer to her. His eyes looked at her fangs as his tail continued to sway.

Aberi bared her teeth slightly, her eyes wanting to follow the movements of the flaming tail, but she forced them to stare at green eyes. "Hmph..." Her claws dug into the grass slightly, but she pressed down that feral pride that she held over herself like a shroud. "If it wasn't teasing, then what, pray tell, could it be called?" She snapped.

Koray yawned when he noticed her bare her teeth. His tail continued to flick as he thought quietly to himself. Why did he have to fall asleep in this tree and have to put up with this female? "It could be called conversing." He said simply as he eyed her for a moment. She didn't seem to bright... Lucy might've been a little smarter than this female. His shoulders shrugged and the thought of the other ulaya quickly left his head as he let a short growl slip from his chest as a warning to the female.

Aberi ears perked as she heard him growl at her. "What?" She questioned, a brow raised. "Conversing..." She laughed, high and reedy. "Doubtless, you being in a tree is not an easy way to talk to someone unless they think they're high and mighty." She muttered, her eyes narrowed. She rubbed a paw against her muzzle for a moment, thinking.

He didn't really think about why he was growling... he wasn't even growling at this female, but at the other one that stalked him. The one he used so that he could take his anger out on her. His shoulders shrugged simply at her comment about him being in the tree. At this moment he wasn't truly paying attention to her. All he was doing was looking at her physical features to tell if this female was worth his time. Was she strong enough? Most likely not.

"Well..." She was hesitant. "I'm not stupid if you think I am." Aberi muttered softly, raising an eyebrow. "But that doesn't give you the right to think I am, you know?" She said, her voice rising in pitch. She hated being thought of as stupid, or a normal female, only caring about looks. She sighed, her eyes upon the ground instead of locked upon the swirling fire that interlocked upon the male's tail. Even his eyes bid her to look and stare. But she did not. She was stronger than that. She would not be easily mesmerized!
