Except most video games based on anime, like video games based on movies and tv shows here... tend to seriously bite.

Some don't. Unfortunately the ones that don't bite don't seem to come to the US, such as Godannar and Shaman King: Funbari Spirits.

NANA Live Staff Daiboshuu! on Nintendo DS is only available in Japan. In fact, every single NANA game has only been released in Japan so far (T____T) I expect that may chance once the American NANA dub comes along, especially if the Americans also decide the remake the films.

It's all extra licensing fees and probably not as much pay off as the anime series gives. Naruto has the benefit of being a franchise, so everything involving it gets brought over.

I would love to see Jump Superstars make it's way to the US, but with Jump series being owned by multiple companies, I don't see that ever happening. Which is unfortunate, since I've heard this game is actually decent.

I want to see the Code Geass games and Rurouni Kenshin game. Hopefully if Code Geass goes really well in the US maybe they will license the games but I highly doubt they will but hey one can always hope right.

Yeah... If I get an anime based game, I'll play it for a week at most. The FMA games weren't too bad, though.

Don't know what you think, but what's the point playing a game without understanding a single word the characters say?

Depends whether or not you already know the general storyline behind it.
