I have many pets, but this seems like a nice place to highlight the
feathered ones!
This is
McKenzie. She is a Red Belly Parrot. She loves to be cuddled and preened. She hates children as she was handled rather roughly by them by her old home. She is a rescue. She is in love with Buddy... who doesn't like her much at all.

This is
Buddy. He's a Senegal who LOVES attention and can be a little naughty to get it. He became a rescue when his first family, elderly, couldn't keep up with him, and he almost KILLED them by playing with their oxygen tanks! Then he had a foster home with lots of kids... which he loved as he liked the NOISE, but bit a lot. He is now learning better manners. (Aren't rescues fun?) He can copy a LOT of sounds and a few words, too. He is our crazy boy!
Critter is a baby Parakeet who has some pretty severe physical problems but makes up for them with SKILLS! He is bow-legged and walks with help of his beak. He perches funny, etc. BUT he is VERY smart. So far this cuddly little guy can say "so cute" "critter" "how-doin" (how are you doing?) "come on" "let's sit pe'cuter!" (let's sit by the computer) Yeah. He skips a lot. OH, and "good morning." He also is super independent and has ways to climb all around the room to follow you (we almost never have him in the cage.)

Unfortunately, the only little bird in this pic still around is the grey canary on the left. His name is
Igor. He sings BEAUTIFULLY, though. His mate, Clarinex Celestre died not long ago. The other bird was Zespree. A sparrow (wild... an imprint, though, who adored my roomie). Now Igor lives with a finch and Critter.
TrembleCharm is a finch. A wild finch who came to us a baby and wounded. However, she also ended up very TAME and so she is going to be an imprint and stay... she seems fine with it. She hardly stays in the cage anyway. She lives with the canary and the parakeet. None of them stay in the cage. They all get to fly free most of the time at our house.
