'Yes. See him before he go away. Say goodbye to man they love. To give respect to man. Just because he dead not mean he not need resepct. He was good man." Invidia touched one of the white flowers that decorated the area the man's body was to be placed. He had died peacefully in his sleep according to his spirit. He had several children and many grandchildren whom he loved and cherised up until the day he passed. So why not say goodbye to a good man.
"No. I not think that. Death make's life. How can one be alive when one no can die? Is really life if no death?" At least that was how Invidia saw it. She didn't understand some human's wish for immortality. Why would you want to live forever? There was so much hurt to be felt, so many friends and family to be lost? Why not enjoy what is given in the small time you have?
Of course, having lived serveral lives she had learned this. Despite the horrible treatment in her past lives, she still remembered the few good times she had. They were hard to think about sometimes but she still had them deep in her memory.

Trygve blinked, watching quietly as she explained before turning. "I do not doubt he was a good man, Miss Invidia. But I wonder how respectful putting your body on display can really be to your spirit - is it not the same thing one does with a trophy kill? To display it for a crowd of people, talking about how it lived?" The dragon sighed, turning away and letting a slightly irate look pass across his face.
"Perhaps I do not understand because I have never known death," he whispered, wings stretching outwards briefly - the tips brushing and disturbing some of the flowers - before retracting them again.

"Is different I think. When you kill...." Invidia suddenly stopped speaking, a haunted look in her eye. Memories of blood, screams, and violence passed her mind. She shivered a bit and looked away. Once she had recovered herself she changed the topic.
"I think you not understand. But not your fault. You dragon. You not choose to be dragon. You just are. Invidia not understand not dieing. Envy die many times. Maybe understaand death more. Also Envy is Banshee. Banshee know when death come." It seemed logical that she understood the death cycle more than the undieing dragon. She didn't hold it against him that he found it a frustrating topic, she could be jsut as frustrated with his understanding of living forever.

"I suppose that is true - though you are no different from me, if you think. Reincarnation is still a form of immortality," he sighed, shaking his head and frowning. "I do not understand. But, it does not matter, I suppose," he continued, frowning and folding his arms across his chest. It was frustrating to admit, but... He would probably never understand the concept of death fully.
To cease existing entirely... Such a thing seemed so strange. He sighed again, lips curling into a frown. "Shall we return to the Lady Van de Burg, Miss Invidia?"

"Yes. Maybe she let me teach you to cook small thing." The little bashee floated up the stairs and back into the kitchen where the matriarch was still bustling about the counters. "Envy teach Try to cook?"
Mrs. Van de Burg looked up as Envy got her attention. She smiled as the little one wanted to teach her younger sibling how to cook, as she was very well taught by the woman. "Of course dear! Just no using the oven or stove unless I am up here ok?" She patted her on the head and wandered back down stairs with the rest of the trays.
Envy nodded as the woman left and started to get things ready show Try. The best thing she new how to make was little bagel pizzas. So she got out the bagels, cheese, sauce, and a few pepperonis for the meat eating dragon's kind. "Take bagel, cut in half. Put small bit of sauce on. Put on cheese. You put on meat. Then we cook." She picked up the platter of little mini pizzas and put them in the microwave for about a minute to cook the sauce and melt the cheese. Once they were done, she pulled them out and showed them to her dragon friend. "Mini Pizza."

"Mini.. pizza?" The dragonling repeated, studying the creations before reaching out to lightly poke at the melted cheese, pulling back to watch the cheese pull at his fingertip. It was hot, he mused absently, twirling the white topping around his finger until it snapped, lifting it to his mouth to nibble it away. "..hm. Intriguing," he continued, nodding.
"Shall we eat then, Miss Invidia? I am curious to try these... mini pizzas."
