I also recently just got the Gardasil vaccine. My second shot was September 2nd, and I've heard about girls getting the shot and having the cycle messed up, although it's not in the side effects.
And my period is either irregular or longer than 28 days, because I think that each month it starts a day or two later? So if it was supposed to start on the sunday that I was going OFF the sugar pills, would the regular pills stop it from coming?
I understand that BC keeps you from ovulating, but does that necessarily mean it stops your period?

Umm... I think with some methods it prevents your period. I know with the Pill and Patch you still get your period, but with methods like Depo Provera and the mini-pill, you can go without having your period for months at a time.
