I am in desprate need of help!!!!!!! I am a beginer with magic so I don't know much about it yet so any advice you give me would help alot, especially if you are experienced. I would like to acomplish on making an energy ball at the palm of my hand at least by the end of September.Any spells, chants, etc. would help alot. I don't really care what they are for, just as long as they don't use dark magic, I just need to learn as much as I can. Oh and how old do you think someone should be when starting to experiment with magic?

I honestly don't think age matters so long s you know you're experienced enough to take on whatever you want to accomplish.
As for making energy balls, try this site: http://www.psipog.net It's a very good site for things like that :3 heart

I'd take a look at Real Magic by P.E.I. Bonewits. It's probably answer a lot of your questions on the subject.

willowmajix007 I am in desprate need of help!!!!!!! Howdy. Let me start off with with an analogy. There're two swordsmen in the middle of a field, about to duel - a duel which both men agreed to have, one year ago today. The first - we'll call him Ganryu Kojiro - has perfected the way of the blade. He knows one hundred sword techniques and has practiced each one of them every day for a year. The second - let's call him Miyamoto Musashi - knows fifty sword techniques, and has studied them every day for a year. Kojiro asks Musashi why he has only studied fifty techniques, when Kojiro has studied one hundred - surely if the duel is to the death, then anything else he could have been doing during the past year is wasteful and will likely get him killed today, for detracting from his training time? Musashi shakes his head in response, and says, "You have not studied the way of the sword, Kojiro, but the fashion in which the sword moves through the air. You know nothing of tactic or strategy, know no form of etiquette with your blade, have no conception of the myriad of responsibilities you have taken up by carrying your sword, nor do you feel the weight of honor that the sword has bequethed upon you. While you may know how a man moves a sword, I know how a sword moves a man." The essence of the story is that while Kojiro has mastered swordsmanship, kenjutsu, Musashi has mastered the way of being a warrior, bushido. So, we could give you a tonne of spells that serve practical purposes, and have you be Kojiro; or we could teach you what (we think) magick is, what spells are, how to write them, different magickal systems and so on, and have you be Musashi. If you're getting into magick, you'll probably be reading a lot. It's important to read a wide variety of books to begin with, to see what kinds of things you're into - there's not much point studying things you're not passionate about, unless those studies really help you to understand magick. So to begin with, you might want to find out about: Casting a Circle, a method of creating a space in which to work magick, to keep energy in, and to keep negativity out. About 75% of books on magick will have some form of this procedure in them, usually called casting a circle, creating sacred space, or marking out a free area. Banishing/Grounding and Centering, which are methods of forcing negativity out of a space, and to bring yourself "down to earth" after magick work. Symbols and Correspondance: this is a big category, comprising different gods, plants, seasons, elements, phases of the moon, colours, smells, planets, emotions and a whole range of other things, and how they relate to one another. Again, most books on magick will say a little about how some things signify or call to mind other things. Spells: Sure, nicking a spell off of spellsandmagic.com and trying it out is fun, but after a while of using other folks' spells, you'll want to know why they work, and how to make your own. Divination, that is, finding out more about the past or future, or about specific topics, by consulting some sort of oracle like Tarot or Runes (but not just limited to them: some tell the future using playing cards, dice, I Ching and so on). Invocation, that is, bringing a God, spirit or similar entity into oneself. Evocation, that is, summoning a God, spirit or similar entity to your presence. Different Religions and Magickal Systems are always interesting and can give you new insights into magick - studying Wicca, Buddhism, Shinto, Christianity, Ceremonial Magick, Chaos Magick, Voodoo, Satanism or any of the myriad of faiths out there might give you someplace to feel at home.
Your personal interests will probably lead you to prefer different books on magick than other folk, and that's fine. I'm not entirely sure what books to recommend to you, though: I found magick through Wicca, and I can honestly say that some of the books I read ('Witch Crafting' by Phyllis Curott, "The Wicca Handbook" by Eileen Holland and "Essential Wicca" by Paul Tuitean and Estelle Daniels) were a great help in understanding magick. Naturally, you don't have to believe in the Wiccan belief system to work magick, so don't go thinking I'm trying to convert you (which would be interesting, since I'm not Wiccan myself). Once you've covered the stuff on the list above, you'll have a better understanding about what kind of magick you're into (and hey, you might not even be into magick at all - some people prefer to go down its sister-path of psionics and energywork, which is fine too, but I have very little grasp of). The Golden Rule is to practice what you read. Everything you're reading about magick is someone's opinion on it, and what works for some may not work for you. Study by reading and practising, then setting aside what doesn't seem to work for you. Good luck. =] (By the way - Musashi won the duel.)

Mitsh used a very good example, I did not think of because I thought you where just Psionic's information. But mitsh is right, learn how to cast a circle, which is just as easy as drawing one on the floor, are marking a circle with candles. I can say with magic, I was talentless, I had no natural skills and was stunted in most fields. I worked RELAY hard, dedicating time to meditation and chakara opening rituals & meditations. Now I can cast magic with ease. There is a simple way of getting used to energy, which can be turned into spell casting after you work at it! close your eyes, preferably in a quite area. 1.take a deep breath, as you breath in. Feal the enrgy, around you, and only you. 2. hold this energy, relay feel it. 3. breath out, try to feel the energy coming out of you. Once you can feel the energy, and confident in the use of the above exercise. Make a command in your head on step 2. This is you "programming" the energy in you and around you. When you breath out, try to think about the command. This is commanding the energy even further. happy hunting smile

Oh, and is Musashi the guy who whittled an oar into a sword on the way to an island duel and then killed a guy with it? and if not, who was that? Cool guy, whoever he was.

Is that a threat, Mister Ritter, or a promise? ;D Musashi is that very same guy. The guy he killed with the oar was in fact Ganryu Kojiro, too.

man..... stare you guys didn't help me this much when I came in asking for answers crying .
Well anyway I'm pretty new too, been here for a month or so not really sure. But the whole energy thing is going to show up everywhere you work. So I figure why not give tips on that. Well this may be different for you but when I just sit and meditate I have a really hard time moving around my energy. Until one night when I got this weird feeling that I should move my hands ( wink thanks again spirit guide) and once I did I found that will your energy is a lot easier! I just use this to stir up some power by moving both hand in a large circle in front of myself(supposidly there is some kind of energy thing there that has to do with the tip of your tongue and the roof of your mouth) so anyway after doing that I could here the energy in my ears, and feel it boiling under my skin and it's crackling taking the place of my thoughts. So try that if you are having trouble. It seems to work well ^_^.
