Marni smiled somewhat and nodded. "And what if she succeeds once of these times? Just by accident. What happens to you then? I mean, some of use are like what we are now because we've died, but what about you?" She asked.

Lawfayet stared at her for a moment, "You're awfully interested in demons aren't you?" he asked "If you want to know, if she did happen to kill me one of these days, I guess my "soul" if you can call it that would be more of the devil's plaything than it is right now," he explained, "It's a fate far worse than death,"

Marni nodded. "Sounds scary. But demons are....a hobby of mine if that's what you want to call it. I know one, but he never talks to me anymore," She said.

"Yes that could be expected of a demon, we tend to just suit ourselves and not think much as to what others might want from us," Lawfayet explained, "Who was this demon that you knew?"

"Lawfayet," he nodded, "Hmm. Can't say I've heard of him, but the demon realm is vast, so I'm not surprised," His eyes rolled over their surroundings. This is one very interesting angel he thought, Why is she so interested in demons? The other angels I've met did all they could to avoid me... and when they couldn't avoid me they tried to end my life....

Dasha slipped inside first, finding a bit odd that she was going into a closet of all things. She didn't say anything, though, before she looked around the place.
"Hm, how do you find these places?" she mused, looking back to Demetri.

Marni nicely held her and out for Lawfayet to shake, remembering how humans greeted each other that way. "Well, he keeps to himself and his little parties. Which is why I was sent here," She said.

Lawfayet eyed her hand suspisciously for a moment, then hesitantly raised his. Can't be too careful with others he thought, She seems innocent enough, but you never know. He grasped her hand firmly and shook it once, then let go. "You were sent to find him?" he asked.
