"I've seen no other form of apology," the unicorn muttered. He really did not care what this guy thought of him or what he wanted out of Chance, he was not going to get it. Unless he liked bothering someone further into the drink. He called for another one and waited.

The fox rolled his eyes yet again as he pulled out some money to pay for the drinks. "I'll buy you a drink, how's that?" Astennu asked, eying Chance as he waited for an answer. Did the guy really have that low of a view on him just because he had been a tad rude? Okay maybe very rude...

Chance watched Astennu impassively. If he wanted to pay for drinks that was his business, though he was not about to count that as an apology. He did that for people all the time, and vice versa. "Drinks are nice..." he said grudgingly. If the fox was going to make him suffer, he was not above making him work for his forgiveness.

Astennu eyed Chance, as if trying to calculate whether or not he should waste his money on the guy. But he did in the end. It wasn't his money after all. "Yes... they are, I suppose," he said, though personally he loathed consuming too much alcohol - the aftermath usually wasn't worth it.

"Hm, really? I didn't know such places existed," Astennu replied with a smile. Ah ha! Something resembling happiness from Chance! Well... maybe. At least he wasn't frowning though, right? "Then maybe I'll have to join you in a drink - you can pay for my free beverage," he teased, wrinkling his nose at the unicorn.
"By the way, I'm Astennu," the fox said still smiling. "And I promise to tone down the rudeness if I can at least know your name too."

"Hm..." The unicorn frowned faintly at the idea of having drinks together. This guy really was determined. There were any number of people that would not have wasted so much time and just dragged him off somewhere. He eyed the fox and sighed inwardly. "The name's Chance," he said, offering his current pseudonym. Not even Dante knew his real name. Am I going to tell him..? he asked himself as he offered Astennu his hand.

His mood immediately brightened as Chance gave his name. Astennu took the offered hand and gave it a good shake. "It's a pleasure to finally be properly introduced," he said with a grin still on his face. "Not that it wasn't a pleasure torturing you, of course."

"What's the point?" he half-chuckled. "We're not seeing each other again after tonight." Astennu seemed almost desperate. Was Chance normally that bad? No... he usually only stuck around if he thought he could get some fun out of it. Chance was actually trying to discourage Astennu from going any further.
(( In all honesty, of all the people he's slept around with, close to nobody knows anything about him... xD; ))

"I would have to agree completely." This guy really was desperate for attention. He could not stand to be alone, even though he had come here to get away. Sad. Chance rose to his feet and kissed Astennu's forehead. "A word of advice. Next time you go in search of some companionship, make sure the other person wants your company before pursuing them into a corner. Everyone would be happier. G'night..." The unicorn smiled faintly and strode away from the bar. He had left the money for his drinks under his glass, so it would not be 'for nothing.' That's how he might have felt, normally...

Aw, poor Astennu. x3))
Astennu blinked as he received a kiss on the forehead - totally not expecting that. So of course he blushed a bit, pink racing across the tops of his cheeks. But he made a face at Chance's suggestion. "Night," he mumbled, figuring it was better not to chase after the guy. After all he had made it quite clear he was ready to be alone again. Just great. Alone and bored. And disappointed.
