“Oh, no it’s okay.” Felicity replied shaking her head, back tracking. “I probably would have done the same thing. How could you know that he did that on purpose. I don’t think I shall be the least bit surprise to find child services knocking on my door tomorrow.” Felicity giggled nervously, while glaring at Toulouse for upsetting everyone. Again.
Toulouse pinched Felicity’s hip meanly. “If you had just come over when I had asked, then this would not have happened.”
“Ouch! Quite it you freak.” Felicity squeaked knocking Toulouse’s shinning head with the flat of her hand this time. “Knock it off. What are you five?”
“Maybe.” Toulouse grunted, rubbing the back of his head. Oh, how he was going to avenge himself against Felicity. He just didn’t know how he was going to do it. “Oh, before I wreak more havoc, this is Cindy and Aesop.” Toulouse said this in an almost polite way, pointing to the two.
“Er, yes well. Hi Aesop. Hi Cindy.” Felicity stuck out her hand for the younger girl to shake, not knowing what else to do, unnerved by Toulouse’s mood change, yet again. One moment he was a little terror, the next he was a perfect gentleman. He must be doing it on purpose Felicity thought.

Realizing that it was possible for the apologizing to go on forever, Cindy simply dropped it and smiled as the little brat boy introduced them.
"Nice to meet you... Felicity?" Recalling Toulouse shouting out to her. She firmly grasped the older woman's hand and shook it, just like Dad taught her how. She wasn't really sure if it was the same for women as it was for men, but what the hell.
"Nice to meet you." Aesop replied, looking up at Felicity with those big red eyes. He wasn't really sure what he thought of her. Or Toulouse for that matter. Such a rocky relationship... Yet, amazing how both of them managed nonetheless. It was interesting. Why, if he made it a TV show, it would be the talk of the town. Which got him completely off track about how one goes about making their own Television shows...
"So, what brings you out here?" Cindy finally asked after all the introductions were complete. Obvious question, she thought after it flew out of her mouth. There are people who actually enjoy camping. As rare as they may be in this world dependent on technology.

“Camping of course!” Felicity replied happily after a very firm handshake from Cindy. Boy did she have a grip! “I just felt like a little fresh air you know? I haven’t been in such a long time.”
“Well, I wish you could have waited just a bit longer.” Toulouse replied petulantly, shifting his foot in the dirt. “I didn’t want to come.” This Toulouse said to Cindy.
“Stop complaining.” Felicity tweaked the top of Toulouse’s ear almost affectionately. “What about you? What made you want to come camping Cindy?”

Just as she'd thought. This girl thought of camping as an enjoyable activity. Toulouse, however, was more on Cindy's page. Last time she'd been camping was when she was twelve years old. And the last time she'd went camping, it had poured cats and dogs. So she'd been stuck in the van with two snoring nieces and a cousin who wouldn't stop hitting her in the face. The thought of that night made her shudder.
"Oh, Aesop wanted to go camping. Because it's a new experience, I guess..." She scratched the back of her head, still not appearing to enthusiastic at this idea. "It's been awhile, and God forbid if I remember how to do any of this stuff correctly." She wouldn't say this was like hell on earth for her, because she didn't want to discourage Aesop... But really, it was. No warm couch, no computer, no TV to lull her to sleep.
Aesop smiled at the mention of his name. "It's really pretty out here.." He commented, once again distracted by the hugeness of the 'wide open spaces'.

“I’m glad you think so, Aesop” Felicity smiled excitedly. “Camping really is such a good experience. It’s like a way to be close to nature without treading too far from home.” Toulouse rolled his eyes as Felicity’s fervor. She ignored the child and continued. “Do you want some help or anything Cindy? I wouldn’t mind at all and I’m sure Toulouse would like to hang out with Aesop some more.”
“Yes I would!” Toulouse said cutting in at the prospect of playing with Aesop some more. It seemed, for the moment, that the tension between Felicity and himself had eased and the two were now enjoying each other’s company.
“We could definitely go and run around a bit if you wanted to Aesop. It’ll be fun. I bet there’ll be great puddles around her somewhere.” Toulouse smiled impishly at the pale haired boy thinking that it would be a great idea to roll around in the dirt a bit. Felicity would be furious. He chuckled at the thought.

Aesop enjoyed being encouraged about the choices he'd made. Not that his Mother hadn't encouraged him... She just didn't seem as enthused as Felicity did.
"Help?" Cindy repeated after Felicity offered and thought. Well hell yes she'd like help. "That would be wonderful." She didn't deny the fact that she was desperate. It was all over her face and in her eyes. She was no camper. Nor was any of her family.
She looked at the two boys for a moment. While Toulouse wasn't her ideal image of a good influence... Maybe he'd help Aesop get to know himself better. Since this boy seemed much more confident in himself. "Alrighty. Sounds good to me." She said to both of them with a smile, then looked back up at Felicity. "My campsite is right next to yours." She said and pointed in the general direction, her feet leading the way on some unheard command.
Aesop raised a brow at Toulouse. Puddles? Why would you want to jump around in the puddles? Well, for now he'd forget about the little mishap earlier since both of the woman looked to be enjoying eachother's company. And... His curiosity about their backgrounds grew more and more... Since this boy obviously knew. Maybe jumping in the puddles was a code-word for secret stuff that they could only discuss among eachother. Hmmmm. "Sure, lets go." He said after a moments pause to think it over, a little smile playing upon his lips.

Felicity laughed openly seeing how much the girl was ready to jump at the offer. “Sounds like a plan then.” She began to walk towards Cindy’s campsite, prepared to help out to the best of her abilities. “Don’t worry. I’m like the camping guru. My father used to take me loads of time when I was a kid. He was a conservationist you know.” Felicity chattered happily on. “Oh!” She turned to Toulouse. “Don’t do anything dodgy okay?” She wasn’t sure what he was up to but she had seen the glint in his eye.
“Oh don’t be such an old maid Felicity.” This coming from a boy older than most mummies. “I’ll be careful. Go and play with Cindy while me and Aesop have some fun.” He smiled brightly, giving a wave to Felicity. “C’mon Aesop let’s go role around in the dirt.” He issued to Aesop to follow him as he made his way back to the direction of his camp.
Felicity was about to yell at him about that but then gave a shrug. Toulouse would do whatever she pleased so she decided not to get worked up over that fact that he may be splashing in some mud. He was the one who was going to have to sit in a dirty pair of clothes after all.

When Felicity turned back to give Toulouse a warning, Cindy added her own words of wisdom. "Be careful you two." And with that, she lead the woman back to her site. "Conservationist, huh? Me and my Dad rode motorcycles for bonding time." She said and let out a giggle. That jerk hadn't taught her to ride one of those by herself... Though it wasn't like she gave too much warning when she up and left.
As they reached the campsite with the long white car, there were obvious things wrong with the site. The first, and possibly biggest, was the fact that the tent was nowhere in sight.
"W-wha?!" Cindy shouted as she searched for the tent. "I just set that thing up! Where did it go?!"
To answer that, all one would have to do is look directly to the right and see it pinned up against some trees. While she had set the tent up, she'd forgotten to take the pegs out of the box and secure it to the ground. Yeah. Camping wasn't her strong point. Period.
After the two had left, Aesop turned back to Toulouse and shot him a questioning look. "Are we... Really gonna roll around in dirt?" His voice didn't reveal whether the idea sounded good to him or not. Simply a question.

Felicity tried her best not to, she really did, but that laugh would not stay in. She unchained her inner laugh, letting it loose to run all over the sight of Cindy’s tent snuggled up against the tree.
“I’m sorry.” Felicity managed to choke out between giggles. “That is just the most hilarious thing that I have ever see!” She rubbed her side thoughtfully as she said this, feeling a stitch form to the left of her belly button from the intensity of her laugh.
“Okay.” She said sucking in a breath walking over to the flattened tent. “This can totally be fixed. C‘mon, give me a hand.” She flipped out the canvas, righting the fallen poles on her side. She motion Cindy to do the same to the other side.
Toulouse snorted derisively. “Only if you really want to Aesop. Saying stuff like that makes Felicity think about something else other than nothing. See my previous comment on her mediocrity. She needs to worry about something that isn’t important. See? She’s too serious.” Toulouse wasn’t sure if he was just making circular argument or not. He was babbling slightly and had to physically stop himself from doing so.
“Well, what do you want to do?” Toulouse had led Aesop to his own camp, which was all put back in spotless order thanks to Felicity. The blue tent flapped lazily in the light breeze and there was a pot set over the currently empty fire pit waiting for flames to warm it up. “I bet there is some chocolate around her somewhere.” He looked about for the notorious ice chest that contained the sweet goodness.

Cindy didn't get angry when Felicity started laughing. No, she was more... Disheartened if anything. She'd worked real hard to get that tent standing up...
"O-okay." The girl said quietly and walked over to help Felicity and did her best to mimic the motions she'd done... Which only made her feel stupider because of how easy it was. Maybe it was just because there was two of them now. Yeah, that had to be it. "What next?"
"Oh, alright." Aesop was trying to understand just what Toulouse was saying, but still saw no point in saying they would be rolling around in the mud for sport.
He thought about what they could possibly do. What he really wanted was to explore this place. Maybe get Toulouse to speak a little bit more about the Ashe and the Fae and all this magic business. But Toulouse had other ideas. "Chocolate? Won't that ruin our dinner?" Not that he'd ever wanted to eat sweet things before dinner time. He liked the taste of salty more than sweet. Which made him wonder... What would they be having for dinner?

Felicity heard the upset note in Cindy’s voice and gave herself a mental slap for being an idiot again. “You know Cindy, the first thing you learn about me is that I have a big mouth. I didn’t mean anything by laughing. It was just that seeing your tent reminded me of the first time I set one up. It did nearly the same exact thing as yours. Doing it single-handedly is hard.” The redhead gave a cheery laugh as if that explained it.
She jabbed the poles into the ground with a thunk and smoothed out the tarp of the tent down the metal. “Just do that to your side too. Make sure it’s pulling tight against the fabric. Now we just gotta smack in those darn pegs and voila, instant tent!”
“Chocolate never ruins anything for me.” Toulouse replied as a he made a noise of exclamation as he found the hidden ice chest in the tent. He popped the top off and saw what treasure was inside. Three bars of chocolate lay inside covered in their bright candy wrappers. Toulouse took one, putting the ice chest back.
He ripped at the bar excitedly, breaking of a generous piece and offering it to Aesop. “Here, do you want some?” Toulouse asked with a smile as he took a bit of his own delectable piece. “Once I get my chocolate fix we can poke around…or do whatever it is you want to do.”
