Well then I went to Barnes and Nobles and it was pretty sweet. Let's see...there was this really weird girl there that kept jumping into people's conversations with this freaky crazed look in her eyes while she whispered, "Breaking Dawn..." Yah...that was me.

I went to a Border's release party with two of my friends. My friend "Vampire Bella/Kylee" was there with me. During the party we played hide-n-seek in the store, and then me and another friend chose Team Jacob (although I had team Alice on my nametag) side to play a trivia game and we won. "Vampire Bella/Kylee" was on Edward's team of course.
Then they had a costume contest and none of us dress up for it. Absolutely none of us. But I told "Vampire Bella/Kylee" to go ahead and sign up to be the Vampire version of Bella.
She won. When she got home:
Bella/Kylee: Mom, I won a costume contest.
Her Mom: But you're not wearing a costume. . . .
Even with everyone there in makeup, she was still the palest girl there. And when they asked her what makeup she used, she told them the truth. Trublend. rofl
Also, earlier, we went to a Library thing and they had snacks, a quiz that the more answers you got right, the more tickets you could enter for the door prizes. I got the highest score which made me eek since I kind of guessed a lot.
Then we made T-Shirts and bracelots. I loved mine, it was very Native American. But it broke at the worst time. emo
I won the first door prize which was a bag with Strawberry scented shampoo, body wash and lotion (that was pretend Edward scented) and a copy of Romeo and Juliet. It was a blast. Then we got stickers and buttons.
My shirt was awkward though. It said:
Team Werewolf.

You know you want to.
Fun day, especially on two hours of sleep. I kept making fun of things. It was great!

Yeah, we looked like total nerds playing hide and seek too. I was hiding in one spot for about 10-15 minutes, and there were these girls watching me. I sat perfectly still, and I could tell they were thinking "What a weirdo!" Then I saw Garnet coming and before she could come get me, I disappeared into a crowd and looked for a new hiding place. She never really found me because they announced the start of the costume contest, so we quit playing.
The costume contest was great. There were so many good costumes. There was a really awesome Alice and Rosalie, a young Jacob, and a Bella in a prom dress. Young Jake and Prom Dress Bella got 2nd and 3rd place. I was pretty surprised about winning, as I hadn't really dressed up. I was wearing a pretty red duster from my sophomore/junior year in high school. I just wore it because I missed it though. I was kind of hoping to win a free copy of the book, or maybe a free pass to the front of the line. Instead, I was awarded with a fuzzy pink purse that looked more suited for the pre-Hannah Montana set and a ribbon. I love them regardless.
I was really surprised to see a LOT of little girls there. We're talking 7, 8, 9, and 10 year olds. Gar has a tarot deck, and at one point during the party, we were just goofing around, and she was giving me a reading. To get away from the crowd, we were sitting in the Erotic/Sex book area. While she was giving me a reading, a little girl, maybe 8 or 9 years old, runs up to the section, grabs one of the books, and runs off. I really hoped it wasn't illustrated. About 15 minutes later, she ran up with a friend and returned it.
Gar found these ultra-sparkly super balls that we couldn't stop playing with. Mine had pink glitter, Gar's had blue, and Lae's had green. I had to have mine, so I bought it along with the copy of my book. It was nice to feel like a kid again for one night.

There was a girl I knew from the class of 04 there too, and she was like "I didn't know you liked Twilight!" And we talked for a little bit. After the costume contest I found her in the crowd and just looked at her like "What the hell just happened?!"
I thought I'd be really annoyed by the crowds or annoyingly obsessed omgEdWarD4evr! people, but it was mostly really nice, and everyone got along and had fun ^^
