Sure it's fun. You work hard, but going to games or a competition is a really good time ^^ 3+ hours of hanging out with all those people you love talking to, with no work to think about until you play, haha. While it might not be fun while you're working yourself to the bone, it's the performances that make up for it
whee Congratulations, you have just stolen the words from my mouthXD As said above, It is super hard work and involves a lot of devotion and practice,w ith a lot of work mixed in. But, competitions and performances overall are the most fun ever. At festivals, you get to eat, critic and show spirit all day. At games you get to talk, play and relax when you aren't marching. You will hurt after practices, especially those that are 3+ hours, but it is worth the pain when you enter the stadium for the first time, hearing the crowd cheer for the band and feelign the eyes on the band. Besides, band members care about eachother, especially small bands. Ours is pretty small, so we are all friends and talk a lot. One day in PE, my vollyball team kicked me off because I can't do volleyballl very well, an my pit friend came and set them straight, getting me back ont he team. It may not seem like it at first, but band people have your baack, making it all the more fun!
