So that's what that ad was about...
Anything to do with the monkey king is cool with me. And I quite like the graphical style. The monkey's face kinda reminded me of the Gorillaz videos. Or maybe it was just the fact that he was an animated monkey and actually beared no resemblance at all. lol

Despite the cliched lyrics of the song, I thought it was damn adorable. I think it's done by the same people who did the latest cover of Gorillaz's album, cos they had "Journey To the West" as their album cover theme.

Lol that video was awesome! xd The Monkey king rocks as always. Zhu Bajie and the Water Demon were cool as well. But they didn't have Tang Sheng! What's Journey to the West without the monk and the horse? Ah well, it was a good add anyway, but I doubt western audiences would get it. Unless they are fans of Jap anime or have watched the cult tv series Monkey.

I don't like the music and all, but I do love the cartoon. The characters are well- drawn.
And yush! Today (or yesterday, it is how you look at it) Beijing Olympics began! I was very proud while watching.

superficially, id say they had good intentions. the monkey king theme was well done and there is certainly no badmouthing of the beijing games. my personal favorite was the coke commercial during the games.
