Shiv's hand is pretty good, infact its really good. The elf and the human discard some cards while the cloaked figure and the orc keep their hands. The human likes his new cards and keeps his hand while the elf folds. Shiv definately keeps his hand and the players put forth some more coins. The pot now totals...10 gold pieces.

The other players seem to be rather doubtful of what to do next. Shiv's bluff seems to work. Both players drop out leaving only the cloaked figure in the game.

Shiv looks over to the cloaked figure and smiles.
"Well my finely cloaked friend, how about we make this a fun bet. Feel free to ante up unless your scared."
He takes out 10 more gold pieces and sets them on the table.

The cloaked figure gives a cough and then draws a short sword and puts it into the table with a loud thwack. The other players jump a little and watch as the cloaked figure pulls out a small pouch and places it on the table.
.... someone has seen through your bluffing...

You should probably make a roll surprised
D20 + Charisma ninja luck of the die me friend
... include charisma because.... it does kinda effect your luck sometimes ninja
the dashing and charismatic always seem to be lucky

(18....) "A draw..." The cloaked person replies with a hoarse voice. "I have the same type of hand...." the cloaked person puts a gloved hand on the table and cuts the gold in half and pushes half towards Shiv. ((if you haven't taken gold off add 6... if you did take back what you put in + 6 ))

He gets up and proceeds among the crowds of people, looking to see if anyone is intoxicated enough to leave their coin purse unattended.

(( sorry for the delay. I will try to explain what might have happened in the intervening time if I may, if not acceptable then it can be edited eh? ))
Draqx just chuckled and shook his head when Shiv darted into the crowd and went to deal with the matter or rooms.
he had finished arranging lodging when he decided to look about for shiv, but with the crwod it might be a bit of a search
