Riley couldn't help but laugh. "I've always hated trying to hail a cab. They never seem to pay attention. S'why you've gotta show a little leg." She winked, to show she was, of course, joking.
"So," she asked curiously. "Have you had a performances yet? Or any upcoming?" Riley thought it could be fun for someone who could sing and dance and act. Bret really wasn't limited to anything, where as Riley had never acted, and so it limited her to just dance related things.

Bret laughed, trying to envision herself in a short skirt and high heels trying to hail a cab. A very funny, but highly unlikely image.
She wrapped her arms around her knees as she answered Riley's next question.
"Ah, no. No performances lined up yet. I'm really hoping to do a musical, even if it's a chorus role. They're are so many great shows playing lately. Wicked, Rent, Chicago, and all the revivals of the old shows! It's amazing. Are you a fan of musicals?"
