Syrette Silly Tilly Syrette Maybe that was sexist since he was male and I was female and being females yourselves you felt the need to b***h at me just like dogs do. wait so because your female we felt the need to B**** as you call it, so you think we wouldn't say anything if you were male.. and because we are females we are B******* so if we were males then it wouldn't be called B******* it be considered something else to you.. I was only kidding at frist but now you really do sound sexest I never insulted you, saying someone sounded is not an insult, but going so far as calling us dogs because we disagree with you, is plan out rude. Good lord, now how am I the sexist one? Because I pointed out how the situation was on the sexist side by the way both of you attacked me, the female, and not the guy who stated it first? I used the dog example to show how the situation was going down. Female dogs are called bitches and when you put female dogs together, they tend to "b***h" or fight. Sorry if my terminology doesn't fit with yours. It's the way I talk. The reason I said nothing to the guy is because he wasn't ranting on how discused he was by the imprinting on Nesse I was simply saying that it doesn't sound right that you would of felt better about it, if it were a boy Bella had insted. It would of still been the same if it were a boy, but yet you would find it more amusing which sounds wrong to me, and I am not attacking the way you talk. It has nothing to do with the way you word things.

If you didn't like my wording, what the heck was that post about then? :/ Sure, it sounds wrong to you, but I'm sticking to my view that it would be funny because no one would've seen that coming. No matter how many times you tell me it sounds wrong and no matter how many times you single me out, I'm stickin' to it. ::sigh:: I seriously hate repeating myself, y'know.

Syrette KiraLight I'm going to have to agree with everybody's rants. I bought it at the airport and read it on the plane and I was so mad at it. I was seriously considering throwing my book at the wall or "accidentally" leaving it on the plane. I'm not going to go into a rant because it'll just repeat whateveryone else has already said. But imo the only way it could have been good is if Bella had a son and that's who Jacob imprinted on. Oh my gosh,I agree. If Bella had a boy it would make everything ten times better. And if said boy was Jacob's imprint, that would have redeemed everything. Even though I'm a bit scared to do so, I agree with Syrette and KiraLight. It would crack the canon wide open and be the ULTIMATE FREE-FOR-ALL~! It'd be an interesting and hilarious twist too. Something BD seriously needed.

*raises eyebrow at Kira*.....dude. You're right. That would have been perfect. Haven't finished the book yet, but I was pointed in the direction of this topic for Admin-related duties.
To both Syrette & Silly Tilly: Discussion is alright, but when things get nasty is when things need to stop. Now, I see where both of you are coming from and I also see the misunderstandings. Please, keep the fighting out of the guild. Take it, civily, to PM, or keep it civily here. Discussion is fine[wanted, actually], and I will say no to no type of opinions, but please do the same. Do not diss others' opinions, and please discuss in a mature manner. That's all we ask for here. smile

I do think that it would be funny.
It would take my Jacob/Edward coupling to a whole new level, since she was going to name the boy Edward Jacob.
Everyone could have their Edward, including Jacob Black.

Oh very much so. I've always wanted Edward and Jacob to get together. Ever since New Moon And since Edward was obviously choosing Bella I was quite happy she was gonna name her son Edward. Jacob could imprint on him and we'd still have a JacobxEdward thing going.

LaylasDarkside Taru-chan` LaylasDarkside x-abstract Breaking Dawn was my favourite, actually. I loved how it was in constant motion. But I have to agree- The book was too perfect. No flaws, no deaths, no nothing. It was one big fantasy. Heck, I'd love to be a part of that fantasy. I felt... Somewhat jelous of Bella being perfect after becoming a vampire. I know, she's a fictional character, but still. Why does everything have to be so perfect for her? Well not everything was perfect for her. When she was pregnant, she was in constant pain, [though I do think she should have taken it out of her], she had to go through the pain of becoming a vampire, and then she had to worry about Alice leaving, and trying to save her daughter and her best friend. I don't think I could have handled anymore than that in the book. A fight scene might have been down though.
[[Please highlight to see my reasoning]] But pregnancy naturally is painful since you are carrying another life inside you. Now let's add in the fact that Bella's baby was a hybrid of human and vampire. If SMeyer had taken out her pain, she would have created the ultimate Mary Sue. A character how doesn't even feel pain during a woman's most emotionally and physically painful time. Even though she experienced that vampire pain, when she became one, she was perect! No uncontrollable urges or anything. She had perect control of herself, unlike every other vampire that we, the readers, have seen. The pain itself only lasted three(?) days. After that, cha-ching! Instant mature vampire. Yes, but it still put here through more pain than any normal pregnancy. I think that it was a good thing she didn't have all of those urges. It was unexpected. And like someone above said, she was mature in her human life, so it should have been taken to her vampire life. And like she said in the book, it seems like she was made more for being a vampire than being human. Mature? That b***h ain't mature! She's the complete opposite! She's the most selfish and childish out of the whole goddamn series. If she wasn't, then I would have felt like I was reading from the point of view of some boring college professor.
It's stupid that she didn't have to go through the pain of abstinence. I would have loved all the blood blood and more blood! (and that random chick quoting MCR...no.) It would have shown that she was a VAMPIRE. That she wasn't perfect, because she's not supposed to be. She's supposed to be effing retarded and goofy, and retarded.
I personally am Anti-VampireBella. Yep Yep. That's what's I gots to say about that s**t.

Finally somewhere I can rant about this... Well I ended up reading that 7 chapter, the first part of the book in Bella view two days before the book came out because of that spoiler. Even then I was like, "Oh my god! I've seen fanfics just like this!" To be honest it looks like Stephenie just got lazy, surfed either Quizilla or FanFiction.net and ripped off all those lame Twilight FanFics. I went to the release party and was so psyched about getting it, stayed up all night reading... Until roughly 6 in the morning... then was totally disappointed.
Spoiler: The whole pregnancy thing was totally lame. So was the fact that she named the Renesme. What type of name is that? Then the fact that it's like Nessie is eating Miracle Grow. I mean, really, just because she's half vampire does not make it fair that Edward and Bella can totally get away with not taking care of her just because she is like a 7 year old by the time she's a week old. Then the fact that Jacob imprinted. I'm not so mad about that but really... How lame is that? I can just imagine Jacob being all like, "Yeah, I'm in love with you but back in the day I thought your mom was a hottie and chased her around like I was a half starved dog and she was a steak." I'd love to see that... On top of that Bella was highly-annoying, even more annoying than in any of the books. Really, how could she do that to Edward? First of all, she was ready to give up having kids all together to have him. Then she gets knocked up and decides she'd die to have the baby and leave Edward in a state of constant insanity. I wanted to strangle her for that... and I don't even like Edward. Rose was a b***h... she only was helping Bella because she wanted the baby... She envied Bella because she could have one and then used her and manipulated her to get it. They should have killed her. Seriously. Then the ending was a complete let down. I was anticipating this big fight scene where someone important dies, then when all the people came I was even more excited for it. Then what happened? No one fought and they only killed Irina. I mean, I was thinking one of the Cullens die, maybe a Vultorri but nooooo Stephenie couldn't even give us that.
Also while thinking about Bella getting pregnant. It's totally impossible not just because the sperm bit but because... Duh he's not human. When a guy gets hard it's due to heat and blood rushing to that one particular spot in their body. For one, Edward is cold. Two, he doesn't have blood. How could he even get it up because... to put it in more friendly terms... his little head can't spit without it being hard.

Wow, no one's been on this for a month. *is posting anyway* I just have to say that everything you said I agree with. I've ranted on this forum before but I can't help just saying it again: BD was the biggest letdown in my life. ~Kana-chan~

I can't decide whether Twilight or Breaking Dawn was my favorite book of the series. I think Twilight, just because there were some really boring parts in BD...but there was a lot of action too, which made me happy.
