Ahh, reading, I read the story on Jayski.com. The only reason it's taken so long is because of the sponsorship.

Yeah every team wanted to know where ups was going, along with Home depot and the thought of snaging up Truex's dad. xd Truex can drive, but lets face it... he wouldn't be anywhere if it wasn't for daddy.

The Home Depot is staying with Gibbs, at least until the end of 09.

However, this isn't Gibbs, this is a start-up team. I don't look for a MWR flop, but I'd be surprised to see Tony or Ryan make the chase.

There will be no flop here, not with stewart as an owner. It's still Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman, and they are still driving Amazing equipment, and they still have winning proven crew chiefs.

Haas CNC was a backmarker team last year, with their cars finishing 30th and 43rd in owners points in 2008. The 44th place car only ran 20 races. I have no doubt that Tony and Ryan can turn that team around, but I'd be very surprised to see it happen in time to get one of them into chase.

Haas/CNC Racing has always had winning equipment-some of the best- but has never had the winning drivers needed for success. Stewart and Newman have the talent that could kick-start this organization.

If they had great equipment but lousy drivers, don't you think that they would be better than 43rd in owners points? There's more wrong there then just the drivers. I do think that Tony and Ryan have a good shot at fixing though, they'll just need time.
