This isn't 'really' anything organic, but it's a good way to solve you hiccups easily xD I have really bad hiccups, so a friend of mine showed me how to get rid of them :3 All you do is place a metal spoon against your temple/side of your head, stick the long part of the spoon in a glass of water and drink it. Any metal can replace the spoon 3nodding Like the back of your ipod when it's been stuck between two frozen water bottles all day while you were at an amusement park! It works everytime heart

I can get hiccups pretty bad. (they start hurting when they get really big) I tend to just ride them out. Taking deep-as-you-can breaths help somewhat.

Wait.. Do you stick the end of the spoon in the water while it's still on your head? I'm not getting a mental picture of this... sweatdrop

I drink from the far side of the cup.
Of course, it only works if I do it almost immediately after the hiccups start.

I usually hold my breath and push down/tighten my chest. I'll give your spoon trick a try next time :3

My mom shocks the hiccups out of me. gonk
For example: One time she was driving and I had really bad hiccups. I was complaining about it too so she turned to me quickly and yelled WATCH OUT. I jumped right out of my seat and my hiccups disappeared. It works but it almost gave me an asthma attack rofl
~in school they just make you drink water upside down if you have the hiccups.

Sounds like something my mom would do! Cept, she'd swerve the car so long as we weren't near anybody else. >w<

I get the hiccups a lot, but I've never heard of that method! I might try it sometime. xd I normally press hard on my stomach/diaphragm while taking really deep breaths to try and get rid of them. My success rate varies.
