Duo__Maxwell Nadnerb Kail of the Shadow Flames Chef Penny Don't be a hater. Everyone has to move on to better things some day, right? I mean look at Jagex's behaviour recently in the last year, they're pathetic. It's as if they don't care about us and just in there for themselfs. Everything they do causes outrage, it's a joke. rolleyes Yes, of course, and Im jesus.
I saw this coming a long way off Penny. You'll be back, you usually come back. Just do me a favor and don't be all snobby saying "Rs blows for this reason, and this reason, and WoW is so much better", because many of us do enjoy Runescape.
Have fun. Nad, didn't you basically leave rs for wow?
Don't instantly be wow hating either people. Penny isn't preaching about the "evils of prolonged yew cutting" and tbh he doesn't need to. If he's found a game he enjoys more than rs then it's only right he should end up playing it more. razz
Ps: Air, I've never come back because the two things I found fun were removed from the game. Edgeville pking, with full dharoks and staking expensive items in the game to try and win a phat.
Both were removed in one patch and that's why I have no intentions of coming back to rs for any length of time.
Pps: Kail, Penny made a valid statement in my eyes. Jagex were looking for the quickest and easiest solution to botting and in the process removed and hashed up elements of the game that people found enjoyable.
So the better idea would be to try and think of another solution to botting. One that Jagex staff could not have thought of. Or maybe they could but as you say they just wanted a quick solution. But no i'm being serious. Lets try and think. What other solution could there have been for RS's past botting problem? I'll try and think too.

I don't dislike WoW in any sense, but to be honest the game will never be the same after they released BC. The game you are playing now is a mere shell of what used to be the most fun game I've ever played. The game used to be such an amazing adventure until I played through the expansion on beta and was instantly bored of it, killing my desire to ever play it again. Then I quit to play runescape for a brief period of time. I digress; I never said anything about hating people who play WoW, but what actually annoyed me to the point of agreeing with everyone was the way Penny was coming off by saying what he did.

I totally drifted off of my point. Sue me, I've been sick for more than a week, and I have dark circles under my eye... Which can't be from lack of sleep, I've been over sleeping. Then again, Dark circles are cool, and these bitches aren't fake. cool In anycase, I meant to talk about what Penny said about Jagex not caring about us, only for themselves. I don't see how that can be true, really. If he was referring to the whole RWT thing, yes, part of the reason they did so was because they were getting ******** over with fake credit card BS and all that. However, they knew that the bots were ruining the game for their players, and that's probably the bigger reason for them to want to shut the doors on the bots. They have to keep their customers happy, afterall. But you may say, taking away PKing and the such pissed a lot of people. Of course it did, and Jagex knew that. However, it was the lesser of two evils. At least Jagex has more control over this than the bots. At least Jagex was able to cut the bots off, and RS didn't die off because of all the BS they caused. But again, to the point. I don't see how that situation is of Jagex in it for themselves. Their hands were tied, a situation out of their control. But they stepped up and did what they felt was the best solution. Not the quickest and easiest way out either. Hell, Jagex could have easily allowed for RWT with themselves taking a cut really. Now that would have been a fast and easy way out, although it wouldn't have solved the problem. Then again, that would be them in it for themselves, now wouldn't it? In anycase, whatever. Penny can look at it that way if he wants. I just don't think it's fair to judge Jagex in that way. It's not like they wanted to do s**t to piss people off. They were forced to because of how bad the bot situation was getting. Oh, and before I forget... WoW isn't the s**t anymore anyways: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=Rw8gE3lnpLQ talk2hand

bonelordo I tried the WoW trial and had a lot of fun but my issue would be how i would pay the monthly cost, i have the money but no credit card (mom won't use hers). Thats when you go to game stores and by the 2 month cards for $30 that have a code you enter in to pay for the game play.

Sorry if I've caused anything him but with my personal opinion Jagex do everything the wrong way, every stupid update they do ruins it and slowy crumbles the game away. Then after they try to bring out exactly the same thing they've deleted but made it 100 times worse for example BH. Like duo said he used to love Edge Pking, he can still do the same in BH but it's just not the same in anyway. Personally it sucks.
I'm sorry if i've ofended anyone but i think this is best for me.
@ Kail; I'm not being a a** i'm doing what's best, classing WoW as a better game than Rs is not snobby, you obviously don't know what the word snobby meas dude. You tell me i'm rubbing it in peoples faces as if no-one else but me can play the game? That statement you made about rubbing it in peoples faces, it gives a instant signal to me that you think WoW is a better game because that statement is classed for better and stronger things.

Fuji, they rake in hundreds of thousands each month. They could pay to have a professional work with them to create better detection programs, banning botters on the spot. Or they could have a constant monitoring system that would be both application based for quick detection and human operated for a human minded decision.
I wanted to come back the other day to give my friend a few items, but lo and behold I can't lend them indefinitely. razz
Y'know, I also find it quite strange. Everyone that's with a game from early on always complains about updates and changes, because things were always best the first time round. A lot of people complained about wows bc expansion and every single patch that comes out more and more people complain.

razz Don't forget you can say, "s**t, ********, dam, a**...ect" in the game and GM don't give a crap. They will just tell the person, "Turn on your profanity filter."

Penny I have no problem at all for you classing WoW as a better game then Rs. It's your opinion, and that doesn't effect me at all. What I have a problem with, is the way you expressed it. You came off as snobby to me, the way you explained it. So I retaliated with pointing that out.
"Im leaving Runescape for WoW, Jagex doesn't care about us, only profit, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that."
That is what I took your comments as. Obviously it's not what you meant to say, and you explained that, so I realize that now. So really, everything is good on my end now that I knows what you were trying to say. o.o
