Wait, the big guy was backing away? Well, that was unexpected.
But Reyin was just going to keep charging, because it'd be pretty pointless to charge and pull up just outside of his own range. Sword included, he probably just barely had an edge when it came to reach against the guy.
Unfortunately that sword was still pointed behind him, so that was kind of a moot point altogether. But hey, if Murdoch was going to back up, there wasn't much Reyin could do to stop him from doing that.
So Reyin tossed the sword up via a quick flick of his wrist, the weapon spinning counter-clockwise so that the point traveled up, then forward to face Murdoch before coming to a rest at a near ninety-degree angle to the canvas. Reyin's hand snagged ahold of the sword at the hilt like the weapon was a javelin, and in mid-stride, he hurled the weapon at Murdoch's torso.
And to top it all off, Reyin was still charging.

Murdoch was close to backing into the ropes when he noticed his opponent do something bat s**t crazy, he almost couldn't believe it since he had watching his opponent maneuver his weapon till he actually notice it go airborne!
He flung his sword!
Halt, turn on his the balls of his right leg while the heel of his left circularly maneuvered the rest of his bulk, dodging a vertically thrown sword as Murdoch would then try to stabilize his weight evenly into both feet, leaving little time to be bothered with a still sprinting opponent which would probably smack into him soon.
The dragonkin was more relieved for the moment that he lacked that big a** sword.

Reyin, being the athlete he was, had picked up the pace considerably once he had let his sword fly. With both arms pumping it wasn't more than a second or so before Reyin was upon Murdoch following his sword's passing.
Except where Murdoch looked to have a blonde swordsman plowing into him, he'd see nothing. And if he looked down, well, he'd catch a flash of yellow hair as the kid dropped into a baseball slide as Murdoch was realigning himself.
Murdoch backing into the ropes had caused Reyin to change up his plan of attack, but, being the flashy guy he was, most of his plans involved pretty much the same stuff.
As Reyin's feet slid out of the apron he shot his hands up, allowing momentum to carry him all the way out of the ring while his hands grasped onto the middle rope. Reyin's torso dragged the lower rope with it by association, and as the ropes prepared to bounce back, Reyin curled his legs in towards his chest, set his feet against the lower rope, and turned his head to get a good measure of his target. By now Reyin was more or less standing on the bottom rope, crouched just enough so that he could hold comfortably onto the middle rope.
Reyin was sprung back into the ring by the ropes, and with a little push off with his legs, he was airborne and well on the way to delivering a flying dropkick straight into Murdoch's chest or shoulderblades, depending on how quick the big guy could turn around.

Murdoch would suddenly feel a pinch of bowel movement, he bent over. Letting his opponent go wizing by above him.
"Ugh..."
He would stand upright and turn, he didn't want to continue the match, he would up leave the ring, waving to whatever fans that were there.
Forfeit due to tummy ache, the big guy wasn't such a hard a** after all.
OOC: Nothing against you Desi, I just don't feel like using Murdoch anymore, gotten tired of him for now, so instead of being ungrateful during the finals, I'd like it if you went along for the both of us.

"YAAAAA---Huhwha?!"
Reyin went flying over Murdoch, but throwing a dropkick was going to allow him to land on his feet. He whirled around, got set in a ready boxing stance that really wasn't going to help him, and then just froze as Murdoch left the ring and ran out of the arena.
Eyes narrowed, brow furrowed, and lips pursed, Reyin just watched as the big guy abandoned the fight altogether.
And then, without any sort of questioning on his end, threw his arms up.
"WHOO!"
