"Uh..." Seth trailed off, having no real answer on things to do. In hindsight, a lot of her pastimes didn't involve being at home. Since they were told to stay put, and it was fairly late, a trip out wouldn't be such a good idea at the moment. Ultimately, Seth shrugged with a lack of ideas. "Back to the couch?"

Maryl scratched her head and nodded, "Okay." She wasn't expecting some sort of big game to be played but something small would have been nice. Not long after, she remembered that Seth was an only child for a long time. It was likely that Seth would be responsible for keeping herself entertained more often than not. As they made their way back to the living room, Maryl wondered why she hadn't noticed her sister's long flowing dark hair before. As they would reach the living room, Maryl asked sweetly, "Sis, can I style your hair for you?"

Half turning around, Seth was a bit surprised. Flustered by this, she took her hair over her shoulder a bit defensively, "M-My hair? What's wrong with my hair?" Though it was tied in a simple ponytail at the moment, Seth did enjoy the time she spent taking care of her hair. She was quite proud of its length, texture, and shine all of which was the result of her time and effort cleaning and conditioning it. She didn't want to think anything was wrong with it, and began to look to Maryl accusingly as to why she would bring it up.

Trying to coax Seth back to being calm, Maryl raised her hands a bit and shook her head. "It isn't like that," she smiled, "I like your hair. I think it's very pretty, but you just tie it in a single ponytail when you go out. I thought you might like to try some new styles." She had a few in mind already, many of which were worn by the rich and ritzy types in the more upscale end of the capital city.

Seth calmed down for the moment. As long as she was clear that there was to be no cutting or dyeing of her hair, she would be okay with what ever it was Maryl was planning. What it was was still a mystery. "Oh... well, okay," Seth consented tentatively, "but no dye, no scissors, and no mystery products." she insisted, pointing cautiously.

In all the weeks Maryl had been living there so far, she didn't remember actually taking the time to rifle through what was stored near the bathroom sink or medicine cabinet. As far as she knew any "mystery products" that she could guess at existing wouldn't be available. Either way, she had little desire to test anything new and just wanted to focus on the use of a comb and ribbons. To ease Seth's nervous aura, Maryl gave a bright smile and a thumbs up to hopefully make it clear that her intentions were innocent and pure.
