Can someone help me with this? I started out drawing magic circle-like drawings and then moved onto anime characters. Now I can't come up with anything. I normally draw when I get bored and my brain is free to think. (School comes to mind.) Lately I have been bored and nothing comes up. Help me please.

In my opinion someone shouldn't be bored when they draw, rather they should be amused. If your mind is upon something else, like multitasking, others things will often be a strong influence. For instance, watching anime or any show really is a great cure. Reading. Anything that you find interesting that will inspire you. blaugh Its probably that you don't feel like drawing that you can't draw, not that you have artists block. Artists block is more like something that occurs when someone has tried everything. xp Or, as a show once taught me (Kiki's delivery Service), don't force it. When the right inspiration comes you will be drawing right away, you just need some motivation and patience 3nodding try walking around, take note of things you like, watch lots of shows even listen to music, you will be shocked where ideas come from. And, like I said, it often pays to multitask.
Well... I doubt that will be of much help because that is just something that helps me and everyone is different, but good luck! 4laugh

Hmm, what I like to do, is read manga and watch anime... When I read manga and find images that I think are absolutely gorgeous, I put little pieces of paper, and then find more. When I'm all done with that, I go back to those images, and alter them in my drawings...I put a piece of that image in my drawing, maybe something like the pose or the hat, or something like that, and I make it MINE. it's a GREAT inspiration. and I get better, because I'm not copying it. you know what I mean?
