Susan nodded weakly and pathetically as he trotted over into the direction of the water with Mostyn. About half way there his legs began to shake slightly, so he leaned himself onto Mostyn and closed his eyes. His stomach was still feeling slightly pained and tight. And his mouthh... he squeazed his eyes shut not even wanting to think about the awful taste.
He opened his eyes and looked down at Mostyn with a slight smile on his face. HE began to moan and groan over dramatically, pushing down on Mostyn and acting generally humorously pathetic.
((you know... the cute kind of hurt...))

At first, she was glad to see that he was able to move on his own. Of course, she was more than willing to support his weight when his discomfort returned and he needed her. Getting ready to move along with supporting him, she hadn't been expecting his overly dramatic display and playful demeanor. Muzzle scrunching, she tried to keep from laughing. "Come on, now," she said, voice strained with held back giggles. And yet, despite his injuries, she still found his games funny enough that she couldn't resist. A little giggle escaped her maw, shaking her form.

Susan soon became happy and content with the fact that Mostyn had giggled, even if she had been trying to hold it back. He bounced around slightly, but not as much as he would have if here werent still feeling slightly noxious. He smiled widely and laughed with her. Soon though his ears twitched as he heard what he thought was the sound of rushing water. He was extremely releived to see that they had reached the stream. The taste was starting to stick in his mouth.

The giggling continued when he showed a bit more spirit. She was glad he was feeling better, even if it was only a little. "Ah... Here we are," she said, the laughing quickly subsiding as she followed his gaze to the stream. Still offering her form for support if he needed it, she made her way to the water. It looked nice and cool, which was definitely good. Sticking a paw below the slowly flowing liquid, she shivered. Not cool, freezing. Susan had definitely been right about that one back when they first met. It felt like such a long time ago, she thought... Although, it hadn't been more than a day. Shaking her paw, she too leaned forward to drink. It was difficult to adjust to at first, but she soon took to enjoying the drink quite a bit. It was refreshing.

Susan quickly and greedilly lapped at the water. As if he were a man that had been stranded in the desert. Soon though, the water didn't seem as cold, he wasn't quite sure if that was becuase he had adjusted to the water's temperature, or if his tongue had just lost all of it's feeling. Either way, once he hit that point he began to take in gulps of water... and spitting them back out. ((he's on the right side of her so he shouldn't be getting anything near her)) Finally when he was content and positive that the taste was gone from his mouth, he began to earnestly drink the water. Again, he did so at a bit of a quick pace, until suddenly... shockingly...
"BRAINFREEZE!"
he cried, cluthing at his head.

Finishing with her drink far before he, she moved back slightly. Taking a seat, she watched and waited with complete patience, wanting nothing more than for him to be comfortable again. Everything seemed to be calming down again, more or less, and she was grateful for that. Well, mostly. She couldn't help but hope that he would be willing to stay and hang out with her a bit longer. Maybe do something else as fun as climbing trees. She didn't know such an activity, but maybe he did.
Gaze wandering, she begun to look up at the leaves again. It had gotten obviously darker with the passage of time. It wasn't too late yet, but it was getting there. Distracted and lost in the world of her mind, she was startled back into reality at his cry. "Oh my..." she muttered, a silly expression contorting her normally relaxed face. "Don't drink so fast, okay?" she joked, poking at one of the paws that covered his head. He just couldn't catch a break for sure.

Susan rubbed at his head painfully, attempting to get rid of his brainfreeze by looking up at the sun. He ground his teeth against one anouther for a moment or two before the pain was gone. He sighed with releif and smiled at Mostyn. "Now you warn me!" he looked up once more thoughtfully and looked back at Mostyn. "It's getting late... what do you think we should do?"
