Hardcase for my electric. If you're carrying a Gibson Les Paul, it better be a hardcase, 'cause its a heavy and expensive guitar, lol. Thank god for it too, because I went to a recording studio class and bought my guitar a few weeks ago, and when I leaned it against the wall, it slipped and dropped. Scared the living hell out of me - my case got a dent, haha, but my guitar was safe. ^_^
I use a softcase for my acoustic. I do like the soft case for my acoustic, because it makes for easier travel. That's dropped too a few times though, but my guitar's been protected - it's just broken a few strings while it dropped. Twice. xp

I have a hardcase for my classical. It makes carrying it around four times as difficult because the case is ultra-protective and therefore ultra-heavy. Does anyone know where you can get those backpack things that go over your hardcases? That would be helpful for when I go to lessons.

I've got hard cases for all my guitars but I also have several gig bags. They are so much easier to carry around. I wish I could find one to fit my RR jackson. i hate carrying around its huge case.

Metal_Maniac [Oblivous] Currently have no case at the moment, Though when I get this LP I'm saving for I'll buy one with it. Any suggestions for a good $50-$75 hardcase? i would recomend the epiphone one, its cheap or try a musiciansfriend one hmm..... I would reccomend spending the money on a really good case if you're going to spend the money on a really good guitar. I've got a gibson hardshell case for my epiphone LP and it's built like a tank. It's always good to know that your 700$ investment is safe when you're riding the bus (and the gibby cases have locks built on)

i love my case very much. once i left it in a hot car on accident and when i found out the outside was all hot so i was freaking out but when i opened it up it was perfectly cool inside eek . i think that makes up for the fact that my case weights about three times as much as the actual guitar.
