Hale chuckled softly, "There's no need to be embarassed Miss Rynn," he said smoothly, "You didn't know what the bottle was, so I would assume, you being a normal person like I, would not have had the slightest inkling that it would be connected to such a creature as a pheonix," he said pointedly.
He watched her for a moment, realising with a pang of regret that he hadn't answered her question about Sojo, "Yes, I would think it's a symbol of hope," he agreed with her. "I think your child will be interesting," he said as she finished talking, "I wonder if it affects their looks too," he mused, looking at his own bottle again.
"I wanted to apologise, I overlooked you question about Sojo before because of my mind being wrapped around the other topics," he said with another apologetic smile. "Sojo is a very beauitful man with a gentle personality, if a bit on the touchy feely side," he said with a bit of a dismissive laugh, "He's very senestive about the Gods topic though, so if you meet him, I would recommend that you maybe not ask him waht his position is, as it seems he was fired for insubordination," he informed her, knowing that she would probably meet the god sooner or later.

'touchy feely?' she thought, amused. Somehow she thought a god would seem more.... detached. "huh... I didn't know gods could be fired." She said. "I would like to meet him sometime." and ask him more about the bottle. She paused and looked at the sky, and then at the town clock, which still remained frozen in place. It was a bit unnerving, because it was so easy to forget time had stopped. She glanced down at her bottle. It flickered silently against her hands.
"Hmm... I wonder what they'll be like. We'll definitely need to meet up again sometime, after they change. " If they changed. It still seemed hard to believe that a child could appear from a bottle. "It'll be interesting to see such beings grow. If their looks are affected, I can imagine it being really dramatic." because what she really needed was more attention, she thought dryly.
((writers block sucks. working through writers block sucks more... sorry ._. ))

Hale smiled softly, "I thought that the first time he mentioned it to me," he said, thinking back to his conversation with Sojo; he had really not expected something like that at all. "If you give me your contact information, I can send him your way if you'd like," he replied after a moment of thought.
He chuckled more at her words, "I already have a dramatic life, more would just be a hassle," he said, "I do hope mine isn't very energetic and likes night time," he said, knowing he was usually tired after work and didn't often work a day shift.
Hale jumped a bit as time suddenly moved forward again and the clock struck the half hour, "My, my, I wish it would give me a more subtle woraning at least," he laughed slightly.

She jumped when the clock rang. Well, so much for the time pause. Rynn smiled at his comment. "Maybe it likes seeing you startled." She said dryly. "I suppose we'll find out." She pulled out a piece of paper and scrawled down her phone number and address. Rynn handed it to hale with a smile. "Feel free to stop by. Especially if you find out more information."
Rynn stood up and stretched, then tucked the bottle into her jacket where it was less noticeable. "I better go soon. Thanks for telling me about the bottle." It was a relief almost, to figure out what it was, even if it was much more of a troublesome thing than she had thought. At least she had warning now, and could plan ahead for the entrance of a child.

Hale stood from the bench and stretched as well, "I had best be going, it would be a bad thing if I got back on a day schedule," he said with a small smile. He accepted the paper she handed to him, "Thanks, I'll pass this along to Sojo, so he might be able to give you more information," he said, tucking the information away into his kimono.
Adjusting his clothing, Hale turned to leave waving over his shoulder at her thanks, "It's not a problem, Miss. Good luck with your Dust," he said as he headed out into the streets.
