Caddy's mouth fell ajar upon realizing how easily the candle's influence traveled. She was furious with Ethan, and the whole idea of giving him a good slap across the face, while he was possessed, in the name of defense was tempting. She'd just have to give him a piece of her mind later. Why? Who really knew... Caddy was ignoring her feelings.
"Hey!" She shouted up at 'Ethan', taking a few steps forward to announce her position. She held the book open and glanced down, mustering the meanest look she could on her face.
"She sang a song, the lollipop song,
and all the wrong that crept inside
was forced along its way that night
tra-la, tra-long, tra-dum, tra-dong."

"I can't see any difference in their eyes, they both look normal to me. I noticed that you were a magic user earlier, you wouldn't know any thaumaturgy would you? If you do you could help me with some ice spells. The ice spells will allow us to immobilize them with out having to do lots of damage to them. Plus once they're immobilized the, did you say it was a ghost, probably won't want them anymore" Kyute looked out as Caddy began to recite the words from the book and then drew his wand out with his right hand as he held his new staff in his left ready with either spell when needed.

Dante interrupts him at "magic user," hissing the words out impatiently, trying to keep from losing the spell he's holding, almost literally, at his fingertips.
"I'm not a mage, I just know a few spells. Take my word for it, Ethan was taken over by a ghost. Lets' see if that Poem/thing in the book those kids gave us will do anything. If not, then we worry about kicking ghost butt, hopefully not killing Ethan in the process."

"Ethan" quivered and took a step back at Caddy's words. The poem hadn't driven the ghost from his body, but it had caused his image to vibrate rapidly, as though displaced somehow from space and time for a few moments. After she finished, "Ethan" growled lowly and angrily. "Wretched girl..." he muttered, swinging his sword upwards and towards her face.
((attack roll against Caddy. LotF, you can make a Willpower save to break free of the ghosts control))
The attack missed, quite understandably. Having the very foundation of your reality shaken, if only for a few moments, can be quite distracting.

That simple quiver spoke volumes to Dante, giving him hope that they could save Ethan, and kill the ghost.
"Again! Everyone, say it this time." Dante shouted. "All together, and don't stop until that thing is gone."
Lucky for him, he had a good memory

Coming to the end, he started again, making it into a round.

Kyute joined in the singing after a round of Dante's chanting to learn the words hoping that they would be enough to destroy the ghost, not just make it leave Ethan's body, because if that happened it would most likely just enter another one and the prossess would be unending.

"Where is it going to go when we--oh!" Caddy screamed as Ethan swung his sword. She ducked underneath a piece of furniture and scrambled to her feet against the opposite wall. She was unharmed, but visibly shaken. She hadn't expected for him to attack her. She'd been hoping the rhyme might instantly release him. She leaned back into a beam behind her. She'd completely separated herself from the others, but she'd been so focused on saving Ethan she hadn't even realized it yet.
She took another short glance at the poem and shouted it aloud again.

The ghost seeped out of Ethan's nose and mouth, materializing as a mist which formed itself together, vibrating and displaced from reality as its spectral hands covered its ears. It looked desperately for a new vessel to inhabit, but couldn't seem to find one as the song continued to rattle its existence. Finally, the ghost screamed and disappeared into nothingness, leaving them all in the still quiet of the dusty room.

Everyone stopped dead in shock at the dissipation of the ghost. Dante was the first to recover.
"Well, that's good. The poem worked... quite well. Shall we continue?" Dante suited action to words, walking around the rocking chair, looking for a door.

"Maybe we should... No, never mind. That sounds like a good idea" Kyute started, then stopped himself as he changed his mind. He walked over next to Ethan and asked him if he felt ok while doing a visual check to see if anything was wrong.

Caddy was finding it a bit unbelievable they were so calm, but that was probably because neither of them had a sword thrust at them. She rested against a wall and closed her eyes. Of course she wondered if Ethan was ok, but for right now she wanted to make sure she was too. They'd be no reason to go over there and be in hysterics. With a couple solid breaths, she opened her eyes and crossed the hall to rejoin the group. She was shaken, although it didn't look so.
"Are you all right Ethan?" She reached out and touched the arm on the opposite side of where Kyute was. "Did it hurt you at all? I was so scared. I hope nothing's wrong." She spoke softly.
