OMG!
That series was so beautiful, it made me cry at the end.
But the series is about these two girls who love each other are Shrine Priests and have to protect the world from these evil demons.
Well it's something like that.

And the only way to do this is by summoning something (I forgot) and one of them had to kill the other. Actually, I don't like the real story that much, because I read a fanfiction of Kannazuki no Miko, and it was really beautiful. The fanfic had most of the real storyline, but the way he wrote it, I wish his story had been picked for the anime. The anime had those gundam rip-offs. :'(
Try searching fanfiction.net, and the author name Tsuyazakura Kouyuki. The fanfic is 15 chapters long.
