I have a crush on my BFF that I've known since I was born literally. He is only a few months older than me and I have the biggest crush on him. I even wrote a song about it. I think about him basically whenever I am awake and sometimes I dream about him. I need help! Oh yeah and I am not aloud to date for like 3 more years.

what makes this problem worse is that you can't date for three more years so there's not much you could do. that's sweet that you wrote a song about him. and yes it happens when people develop crushes they can't stop thinking about them. you can tell him if you want but there are some consequences. 1. you can't date. 2. if he does like you it's going to be complicated to stay away from a relationship and 3. if he doesn't feel the same way some guys will feel awkward and want to back away from you a bit.

yeah that is why I don't want to tell him. and since we are so close if I say I like him it could break our friendship.

Considering that you can't date for a few more years, If you are friends with him, then keep it that way. Stay as close to him as possible with your friendship. Maybe he feels the same way about you but knows that you can't date yet. (He does know that right?) Anyway, let the friendship grow, perhaps when you can date, you both will know how you feel about one another. Maybe let him know how much you do care about him, but keep it on a friendship level, because he might not be ready to date either. If it is meant to be, it will be. Good luck sweetie!

Mybe you should tell your parents. mybe they will let you date him, if they know the guy and love him, mybe they will prefer him over a guy they don't know to well.

Good luck sweetie! yeah he knows and he hasn't had a girlfriend ever before. But it isn't that he isn't aloud because him twin sister is dating and she has been for like 2 years. So I guess I will do that just be his friend and hope he likes me too.
