Altair jumped a little, nonchalantly eying Lily from the side. He cleared his throat and nudged the side of Lily's face with his nose.
"What is it?"

She couldn't speak, the words won't come out! She remained silent, looking desperate to speak. Her heart raced faster, finally she took a breath. "I love you." She pulled back "I know I just met you, and.." she got up, nervous again and began to pace. "It feels so right that's all!" It looked as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders and she turned to him, unsure of how he'd react.

Blushing deeply beneath his dark fur, Altair stood, his eyes focused on Lily.
"Uh, I..." he let his gaze roam back and forth, always keeping Lily in his peripheral vision. "Well, I just met you..."
Much like Lilly, he couldn't speak, but for lack of knowing exactly what to say.
After a long, drawn out moment of silence, he managed to find some words, "I'd like to get to know you better."

Lily began to purr. "I'd like to know you better too." She smiled. His reply was enough for now. She nuzzled him gently. "Did you want to go for a walk?" she smiled.

I sudden grin spread across Altair's face at the evident change in persona from Lily. He stood as tall as he could and shook from head to toe; removing the stray cherry blossom petals from his pelt.
"I'd like that." he said softly, nuzzling Lily in return.

Lily nuzzled his cheek softly. "Lead the way Altair" she smiled.

Altair cleared his throat a bit as he moved his feet around, pushing sakura petals into a small pile as he looked around for a decent path to walk.
Not too far from where he and Lily stood was a path between to rows of trees, creating an archway and a beautiful rain of petals. Altair nudged Lily's cheek softly and motioned towards the arch of trees.
"Shall we?"

(( sorry for MY delay, been a busy little bumble bee))
Lily blushed and nodded gently. "Of course" she purred as she let Altair lead her through the pink 'rain'.
She flicked her tail merrily as she walked beside him, occasionally looking towards him to see if he was enjoying himself as much as she was enjoying the pleasure of his company.

Altair kept quiet, his eyes cast down bashfully.
He caught him shyness and lifted his head, keeping his eyes straight ahead... With the occasional glance out of the corner of his eye towards Lily, only to quickly turn his head straight again if he saw her turning towards him.
He cleared his throat a bit and swung his head towards Lily, his words stumbling over themselves in the race to be vocalized. "It'sniceouthere, isn't it?"

She smiled. "Yes, it is very nice" She flicked her tail against his and purred softly. "You look a little nervous, is something wrong?"

Suprised, Altair let out a rather unmanly squeak, his tail flicking away for a moment.
He chuckled nervously and nodded, "Yeah... I guess I am." Hesitantly, Altair swayed his tail towards Lily's and look down at her. "It's not every day I get to spend time with a pretty thing like you." He half-smiled; not wanting to be too forward was making him anxious.

She looked away, blushing and shuffling a paw. "Heh.. Altair" She purred nervously "You..You're so sweet." She smiled looking back towards him. "I have to give you a kiss!" She moved her body forward and gave Altair an unusually strong peck on the cheek. She giggled as the two gladier fell onto the petal covered grass.

An unusual smile spread over his face as Lily kissed him, he let himself fall with her onto the grass and swished his tail back and forth, bothering the petals so that they seemed to dance around them.
"Well, I'm glad you think so, Lily." He turned his head so that he could see both Lily and the trees as petals rained down onto them. He laid back and closed his eyes, just in time for a petal to fall onto the tip of his nose.
