"Well locking him in the basement won't it just make him worse?"
Naida wouldn't liked to be locked there, wherever there was, and it would be awfully lonely. Then again she didn't know Voss, so she didn't understand how anyone could be locked in a basement like that. She had heard of being grounded, but she had never been grounded before.

((That's okay))
"Really?" Naida thought about it flapping her tail against the water, "I thought it would make someone more angry being locked up in a basement like that."
She couldn't imagine how it would tame a person, not having any contact with anyone, but then again she didn't really know how these sort of things worked. The little mermaid sunk into the water a a bit deeper. Her thoughts were interrupted though by a human like overcast. Looking up she saw her mother, in human form looking back down at her.
"Mommy!"

Okeanos looked up at the human above them. His eyes were full of wonder and he was going to something, anything really, when he looked behind him to the eyes of his mother.
"Ma! Dis es Naida! Shey's been real nice to mey!" he seemed to wiggle about and get rather excited.
The white haired, yellow eyed woman smiled softly and patted Okeanos on the head. "I'm glad you've made a friend, Oke." She looked up at Naida's mother and smiled in greeting.

"Indeed," Feng murmured with a giggle as she bent down to scoop Naida out of Okeanos vase, "It's good for the both of you, finding fellow mers is so difficult these days."
She should know, she had just grown up with Ryu her whole life, well there was Deni, but he sort of disappeared on her.
"Mommy, we were playing and talking, and having fun," Naida told her mother excitedly as she was held close, "Do we have to go now?" Feng nodded, "Yes, back to the river with us. I think that's enough time on land."
