A decent portion of our saxes in my band were female. I myself play Alto. I do love my sax so heart

I'm a female sax player. And of the four sax players we have, three are female.
I have no idea WHAT you mean by this, there are LOADS of female sax players around. User Image

Three in our band when I graduated. Two were girls, and the guy was the drum major so he didn't play except for concert season anyhow. No idea, maybe it's just where you live and your band xP
Heck, girls dominate our whole band, save low brass. Haven't had a girl in the low brass since three years ago. My section (horns) and the low voices are the only sections without female dominance, and my section gets off only because I'm the only one there xD

ok there are 3 sax's in my band and 2 of us are girls and that includes me but the dude in our section is so totally weird but most of the girls "love" him it is soooooo weird but ya he was the first sax in our band then my friend and then me so yes girls can be sax's

and we LOVE OUR SAX'S!!!!!!!!!
