Arc nodded, pushing himself to his feet as well and moving, slightly more quickly than Hyde, to get the door for him,
"By the market, just along from the fruit store.. There's a little patch of grass near where they usually set up, I think that's a good place to meet.." He tugged the door open and smiled at Hyde,
"No thanks is necessary.. the company was lovely.." he touched a hand to the elf's shoulder again with a small smile on his lips,
"I'll see you tomorrow Hyde.."

Hyde nodded, looking momentarily surprised that Arc was holding the door open for him. He bowed his head in thanks again. "Yeah, that sounds like a good place to meet, I'll see you tomorrow." He answered, mentally remembering where that place was. He knew where it was, good.
"The food was lovely." Hyde commented, smiling when Arc touched his shoulder. "I'll see you tomorrow morning, goodnight Arc." He bade goodbye and left.

Arc spent the remainder of the evening clearing up the remnants of their dinner, though that certainly didn't take him too long, and he managed to get himself a nice early night.

He'd known the strangely quiet elf for quite a while now, he mused as he cleaned, it was strange for him to actually make a friend like he seemed to have managed to this time, as he usually kept people at arms length. This wasn't because he felt he didn't fit in or any other such worry, people just really pissed him the hell off. That was the simple reason.

It was nice to have found someone who didn't. He was actually looking forward to seeing him again in the morning, and that, couple with the fact that he'd actually been happy to see him on the doorstep were two very strange circumstances indeed. It was definitely a sensation however that he was quite happy to get used to, it was nice to have a person around that he really didn't mind spending time with, in fact.. he'd noticed that recently when he'd taken the time to see Hyde, he'd often looked for reasons to spend longer with him...

~*~

The following morning dawned pleasant enough really, it wasn't bright and sunny, but there was little chance, Arc felt of there being any rain until later one, and he was usually fairly good at guessing when the rain was likely to show up... he was rather fond of it after all, but he knew his elven companion was definitely of a slightly different opinion, then again, it wasn't in his nature to like rain as it was Arc's.

He had had an early night, and was consequently up earlier than he'd thought he would be. It didn't do any damage though, he took a little longer over his breakfast and walked a little slower on his way to the market. He was still there early however and settled himself down to sit on the small patch of grass they were meeting by. He wasn't sure where Hyde was going to be arriving from, so for the moment he didn't bother to look for him, he simply sat and toyed with the grass.

Hyde ran from his house to the market, looking rather ruffled. He really hadn't meant to sleep in! He'd just slept a lot heavier then he usually did, it was a content sort of sleep. He yawned once again as he slowed, reaching the marketplace with time to spare.

He had sat up until late thinking, mostly about his newest friend. He liked Arc, since the other understood him and wasn't overly flashy, nor did the other ask awkward questions or be an awkward person to deal with. He was just...Arc. Hyde found he liked Arc alot, which scared him slightly. He wasn't used to liking people and on such a level. He trusted Arc almost completely and that wasn't normal for him. He let out a sigh as his breath finally caught back and entered the marketplace, making a beeline for the meeting point.

He hadn't been able to see the old woman today, he'd have to go tomorrow since the old bint hated dealing with people during the day. Which was strange, but he guessed on some level her herbs weren't totally legit for her to sell. He spotted Arc and wandered over, tapping the other on the shoulder. "Ready?"

[[ Time Lapse~ ]]

All in all it had been a good day. Hyde mused over this as he walked away from the market with bags in his arms. Liere would be happy that he'd bought him a cake for tonight, since his brother was on the childish side when it came to sweet pastries. He had enjoyed the day with Arc immensely, which utterly surprised him yet again. They had met under such weird circumstances and now here they were, very good friends. He was tempted to say thick as thieves, just because he liked that saying. He could even go so far as to say he really missed their time together when they weren't hanging out.

"Did you get everything you need?" He asked his friend after a long bout of silence brought on by his musing. He had to stop doing that, he had to shake the habits that being perfectly alone had brought for him. He gazed out of the corner of his eye at his friend, before flicking his gaze to the front again. He couldn't believe they'd spent as long as they had in the marketplace.

"I think we got enough to feed about eight of us," Arc stated with a smile as he looked over at Hyde, "Let alone just three..." he shook his head, tucking the large bag he was carrying a little further up his arm. "I think we'll have fun though, it looks to be a nice day, so I don't think we'll get rained on this time, well, hopefully not anyway.." he grinned at the elf before pointing down the road they needed to take to get back to his. He was happy to wander along in silence for now, he didn't need to be talking all the time to be happy.

Once they reached his house again Arc smiled slightly down at Hyde and took the goods the other had brought along off of him and set them on the table. "Okay... now you leave everything here with me, I'll get them all packed up properly and I'll meet you at the edge of town, with your brother in half an hour, okay..?" he moved back over to Hyde and just curled an arm gently around his shoulders to give him the smallest little hug. "Is that okay? Niji will be here with me soon enough again, so we'll see you down there when we're done here...." he gave the eld a very light squeeze before letting him go once again to start packing up the food.

Hyde nodded as Arc spoke, following after the other with no complaint. It had been months since he could just carelessly be with someone else, he just had not trusted himself enough to let up any. "Well if one of us turns out to be a blackhole we're sorted." He commented, his lips quirking up a little. "Well even if we get rained on, we can pack an umbrella? Puddles can be fun I guess..." He commented, also happy to fall back into silence until they reached Arc's house.

"Uhm..." He blinked in surprise when the bags were taken from him, having thought he would be taking them home. "Sure, Liere should have woken up by now." He murmured, startled into silence at the arm that curled around his shoulders. He stared at a spot ahead of him, gradually relaxing a little. "Uh..." He needed to think right now, seriously! Brain's kicking offline were no fun. He really, really wasn't used to sudden contact. " Yes, that's fine." He said, peering up at Arc when the other let him go. "I'll see you in a little while then." He commented, heading for the door and out of it.

It didn't take long for Niji to show his face, he always like potential outings, an dpicnics near rivers that gave him the oportunity to soak both himself and others had to be one of his favourite pass-times. Spending time with Arc was also fairly high on the list. He was a partial help to Arc when it came to actually packing things up, he wanted to know what everything was, where they got it and how much it cost, everything and anything he could think to ask was asked, and by the end of it Arc was sorely tempted to pick him up by the ankles and dangle him upside down for a while just to see if he could make him shut up. Luckily though there were ready to leave before long, and once walking through the town towards the outskirts Niji distracted himself so much with the scenery that everything else seemed to be of a secondary interest to him, Arc included.

They were probably earlier than they should have been so Arc let his little sibling scuttle off to explore the area a little while he stood, leant against a building to wait for Hyde and Liere to show up, he was hoping that Niji and Liere would get on well, but that was yet to be seen as the two hadn't met up yet.

Hyde had gone home and dragged Liere out of bed, since the other really had arrived at a weird time last night. They spent a good half an hour getting dressed, then Liere had to insist on bringing a large beach-type ball along. Hyde let him, since Liere really couldn't do damage with it. After they had had coffee and tea and scuttled about, they left the house, Hyde with a book in the bag slung over his shoulder and Liere with the large ball held under his arm.

"So....he's that guy you were with when we got lost?" Liere asked as they climbed a set of steps that led up to a central-plaza like area, he leveled bright blue eyes on Hyde and grinned when his brother nodded. "Aaaw! You have a friend!" He cooed, jogging off ahead when Hyde looked a little annoyed. "Liere! That's not nice!" He called, grabbing the hood of his shirt when he spotted Arc.

"Ooh! It's the rainbow guy! Hi!" Liere said happily, jogging towards him with Hyde following. They'd been early, so he really hadn't realised Arc would be early aswell. "Hi, Arc. Where's Niji?" Hyde asked when he walked over to the other, smiling a little. "Sorry we're a little early."
