Josey kept running, her lungs burning and her shin stinging as sweat dribbled down the scrape she had from earlier. "I'm...not..." she replied as he told her not to give up. Had he crashed? "They're...right...outside...the..." she ahd to stop to catch her breath for a minute.
"They're right outside the door..." she managed. "Be careful." Taking a deep breath, she started to run again, hanging a sharp right as the Tardis lit a hall at the last second.
A new set of doors opened and Josey ran through them, finding herself in a massive carnival. Roller coasters covered the ceiling and cotton candy machines lined the walk way. "A...Carnival?" She panted.

The Ghosts were nowhere to be seen. He limped up to the console and hit a switch and then a button. "Locks released, Tardis, as soon as Josey is in a room alone delete the room, get her back here." he said, moving to the next console.
He brought down the console monitor and started tapping at keys. the ship did a quick scan of the planet, it displayed what worlds were present in this world. He memorised the list and the locations before moving to another panel. He pulled a lever adn then turned a dial before leaping backwards. A massive 6 inch thick metal cylindrical sheild fell down around the console, there was a hissing sound and the Deadlock seals engaged. A moment later an energy field errupted around the metal, a field more powerful than the tardis' main shields. it wouldn't hold forever but it would get buy him 24 hours to figure out what to do.

Josey had managed to find her way out of the carnival and had been running for about ten minutes when Fox's voice came over the speaker of the phone again. She wasn't going to be able to run much longer, and saw a door open just ahead of her. Pushing herself, Josey stumbled in and had to pause to breathe as the doors closed behind her.
"I can't keep running much farther..." She said, breathing heavily. "They're going...to catch me...at this rate." It was only after she said this that Josey noticed the room. It was white, pure white, like a hospital room...and as she took a step toward the center, small discs opened up. For a split second, Josey was afraid she'd been lead to some sort of safe with laser protection...and suddenly, she screamed.
Water was shooting out from everywhere, she couldn't avoid it. "Ah!"
She closed her eyes and covered her face, attempting to dodge the water. The next thing she knew, Josey was in the Tardis on the floor next to the console, dripping wet. Josey lay there spluttering and panting for a moment before pushing herself up and wiping the dripping wet hair from her face.
She coughed and looked around, unable to see Fox from where she sat, the Tardis blocking most of her vision. "Wha-" she coughed, rubbing her nose as she had breathed in water after dodging wrong and getting a spray straight up a nostril. "How did I get back here?" She mumbled.

Fox ran around the massively armoured console to where josey had been dropped off. She was soaked through to the core, but Fox didn't even have time to be embarressed by the sight of her dripping wet clothing as it clung to her body. He grabbed her by her wrist and pulled her up, dragging her as quickly as possible out the front of the tardis and into the world as the lights of the tardis shut off completely.
He tripped as they exited and rolled back to his feet, spinning mid roll and looking up at the Tardis. The doors slammed shut and he heard them bolt. A voice recognition modual appeared on the front of the red box.
"Thank you girl." he said, looking up at the Tardis. he turned to Josey and sighed, red suddenly flushing against his cheeks as he noticed the clinginess of her soaked clothes. He spun around, arms clamped at his sides and a strained expression on his face. "Yes, right. Ok." He said. "Sorry. I'm so sorry I made you run, without me I mean. The Tardis has turned it'self into a prison until I give the overide code, something I wont be doing until we find a way to defeat death... well, not death exactly... well... not death at all. They're energy syphons. I'd only heard stories of the Wraiths of Rastputin before, but seeing one in person, even just a hand, I know an ascended being forced to exist on energy syphon when I see one. It's all Spacey." He turned around, forgetting that the girl was still soaked, redded up again and spun away, pulling his flashlight clumsily from the holster. He turned the settings and handed it backwards around himself. "Just press the button and point at yourself. it'll dry you. Don't point it at me though, it'll ruin my clothes. Silk really is dry clean only, and that'll just set it on fire. should be a gently warming for you with your wets."
