The Mule Of Max Zombeh Jesus No seriously, their is a major shortage of tanks in some areas. In a way Blizzard is trying to make more people play tanks. I understand why warriors should be mad, but it's not like no one will no longer take warriors for tanks. I know this. But I guarantee you that DK is not Blizzard trying to make more tanks, because it's not really a tanking kinda class. It can tank, but so can 3 other classes. Non the less I still think this is their solution to the lack of tanks.

Karnokoto Zombeh Jesus The DK was in a way meant to replace warriors, because no one plays warriors and people have trouble getting tanks and stuff. So Blizzard stepped in and said " Lets put in a new new tank class because not enough people are using the current one, and with the rush of lots of people to play the new one, their will be no problem with tanks." But then when you think about it, healers are gonna be extra needed during the beginning of WotLK because everyone is gonna be a DK and going to need healers.
Me and Max play warriors, and both of them are prot.
Also, I don't know about on your servers, but on mine there are so many ******** paladins its nuts. You can't shake a stick without hitting at least two. I haven't seen as many Alliance paladins as Horde, but you guys must be loving the shamans.I have to agree with Zombeh. There is a shortage of both on each side of the faction on the realm I play on. I have made a Draenei shaman (Currently level 59) and I don't see many of my kind. I did see quite a few leveling up, but now in OL I see very few. Trust me I get into a lot of groups (Respected healer among the 60s) and see very few. When in PvP see few Belf pallies, but when I do they are ALWAYS ret... eek Anyway, back on topic! I don't see Death Knights to replace any class. It is basically another druid, another pally (Without failed DPS). They are adding another hybrid class, and I'm still sure there will be a shortage of tanks anyway. DPS is the easiest, and the most fun style of game play to..play. More of them will roll to be DPS then tanks, imo.

blizzard has tried time and time again to get people to play tanks, but the harsh reality is the majority of players are too awful to play a tanking class AND actually be good at it.
Case in point; my boyfriend used to MT, he pumped out massive teepz in s**t for gear. A challenger appears; warrior more geared than him. oops he outthreats him. Complaints abound whenever other warrior is tanking. Patch 2.4 casts Burnout. Guild dies. Why? Better rotation, better weaving of heroic strikes, etc. He didn't even know there were one button macros for threat that people used until he sold his warrior. Apparently they don't work too well, considering he probably could outthreat our current tanks if his warrior's account hadn't gotten banned. lol
Fortunately for the unskilled souls who rolled classes with a tanking tree, the DPS (and in some cases, healing!) roles are extremely easy.
Paladin: Cast seal of command/blood, judge, crusader strike afk lol. Healing? CAST HOLY LIGHT OVER AND OVER UNTIL YOUR EYES BLEED. Druid: If singleTarget.exe Then Mangle, Maul, Lacerate If multipleTarget.exe Then Mangle, Maul, Lacerate, Swipe End If Healing? Make 4 lifebloom target macros. Bind them to F1-4. Press them over and over again. If you're healing a single target or changing targets rapidly (this is where things get difficult) bind Lifebloom to a mouse button and mouse over the target you need to lifebloom!
zzzzzzzzzz

That is where you're wrong! I cast Flash ol' Light over n over again! Then if on boss fights I will pop Divine Illumination then keep casting Flash ol' Light! Also for a shaman healer (Like mine) I just spam Chain Heal. Not a big difference.
