Ari would have looked to make sure Neliah was alright but this was not the time her main focus was not to fall off. Her claws dug into its sides as she held on. Finally with a snarl she found the back of the neck biteing hard. with luck she would break it. Boy he was big.....
Why wouldnt her heart shut up for a moment, she was trying to hear the buck hear when he weakened from the strangle hold. Worst of all was her mouth was drooling mmm delious blood. She smiled a bit tho her teeth as the buck gave a final kick then crashed to the ground throwing Ari a few feet to gracefully land on her feet.

Neliah yelped a bit as the body of the deer buckled, his big heavy head crashing down on her back. Then all was still. "First I get squashed by a Saber, and now by a deer." she muttered, pulling herself free. She poked the buck a few more times, but the verdict was clear. She smiled. Dinnertime!
Neliah looked over at Ari. "Thanks for taking the back end. I wouldn't have been able to avoid his crazy back hooves!" she said to her. "Now... let's bring this back to the pride. Ra'Shook should be pleased." She looked back through the trees, in the direction where the pride lay. "But that is a long way to drag a deer..." Crimson blood continued to spill into the snow.

Ari shock off and smiled. "my pleasure im just happy i avoided them also..." She looked down at the buck then back towards the pride, "yes that is a ways huh..." she snorted "least he was dead when he fell on you!" she snickered trotting over and sitting in front of it.
"well," She stood up, "better get to work we have alot of work to do t get it there." She grabbed his back leg, "you... gts te frnt." she said throw a mouthful of leg oh juicey leg meat.

Neliah took up the deer's front half, taking a bite through the shoulders. She almost fainted it tasted so good! Her growling stomach quieted as she snuck a few bites while carrying the beast. Heaving it in her strong jaws, she dragged it with Ari back to the Pride, coming home with not only dinner, but a friend. In Neliah's eyes, at least.
