Lili was aware of what Drake was about to do a second before he did it, but she was too slow to stop him. Instead, she stand there, pinned against the wall, frozen with fear as images of death, destruction, and despair were forced into her mind. She could do nothing but accept it.
After what seemed like an eternity, the images stopped and Lili, breathing heavily, collapsed to her knees. Tears started to stream down her face, a rarity for her, as she looked up at Drake, hurt. She thought that he might actually consider her feelings, but to no avail. She didn't know what disgusted her more, what she saw, or the fact that Drake forced it upon her. "Damn it Drake, why don't you listen?" She yelled at him from the ground.

"I do listen, lili! It's all I can do but listen and watch! You saw what I see everytime sego into battle, you heard the same thoughts I always hear! I can't get away from it, tell someone to stop it. I'm stuck with these abilities I am cursed with!" drake said quietly but fiercly. He was tremoring. He fell down to his knees infront of lili, tears starting to show in his eyes as well. He gently put his hands on her face and wiped the tears away with his thumbs, "I'm sorry lili, I didn't mean it. I'm sorry."

Lili honestly didn't know what to do. Here she was in tears on the floor, angry with Drake, but there he went revealing the truth about his ability. She was not only surprised at his emotion, but touched at his apology. She was literally lost for words. So with nothing to say, all she could do was stare Drake apologetically in the eyes before collapsing onto him in an embrace.
