Aras finally relaxed, since Rhea wasn't tickling her anymore. Surprisingly, the wolf boy wasn't very heavy - at least, she didn't think so - and she made no move to get him off of her.

As a matter of fact ... he was quite comfortable ... almost like her dragon.

She smiled at him and stroked his hair softly.

Ruque heard Kanis's words, but he paid them no mind. He wasn't brave. He was a coward, and coward was the opposite of brave. He was scared of most things - definitely scared of Corrah, frightened by Armus ... even Rhea, who was no bigger than Ruque himself, scared him.

No ... he wasn't brave at all.

Rhea smiled at her. He did not know why she was being so affectionate to him now but he was enjoying it and he nuzzled his head into her chest his tail wagging. He was very light in weight but he was very warm and she could feel the trail of fur along his back.

He was enjoying being petted and his eyes started to close.

Kanis sat down and waiting quietly.

Once everyone who wanted dessert had finished up, Celebor rose to his feet and stretched a bit.

"I think we should be getting home," he announced softly, smiling down at Niyana and reaching out a hand to help her to her feet. "The day is wearing on, and it's a long way home again."

By this time Aras was sitting up again, and feeding Rhea cake with her hands, little pieces at a time, and giggling at him. She was finding him absolutely hilarious and having loads of fun.

Ruque had been sitting with Kanis, but he looked up at his parents and smiled. "Time to go?" he asked, not quite able to keep the hope from his voice. He wanted to be in familiar territory, with only the people he was comfortable with.

Niyana nods having finished putting the bowls away and takes her mate hand, "Yes we should be heading home and we will all be back in a few days, with the kids ready to train."

Laughing she nods to Ruque, "Yes dear it is time to go."

Kanis nods and stands as well. "Thank you both, Corrah and Armas. I look forward to seeing you again."

Ruran grumbled and got up. He was not happy to be returning home though at least he would have his nightly show again.

Rhea eat carefully from Aras's hand each time licking her hand clean making sure he would not miss a bite. She was a good pack sister and he did enjoy her company a lot. He turned confused to see everyone moving about.

Celebor smiled and took Niyana's hand, then turned to the children. "Come on, let's go," he said softly. "You'll be back here next week, don't worry."

Aras pouted a bit - she didn't want to go, she wanted to stay and play with Rhea. But she sighed and climbed reluctantly to her feet, knowing that she had to listen to her parents.

"Yes, Daddy," she said softly. She smiled faintly at Rhea. "I have to go back home now with Mommy and Daddy ... but I'll be back next week okay? And then we can train together and have fun!"

Corrah nodded and a faint smile could be seen playing about his lips.

"I also look forward to having them return," he said softly, his tone quite serious.

Armus grinned. "I think everything's going to work out just fine," she said brightly. "Take care of yourselves, hey? And we'll see you next week!"

Niyana picked up the basket and started to walk away with Celebor. She would offer her kids rides a little later if they needed or wanted them.

Kanis smiles and offer her hand to Ruque, "Shall we go home then"

Rhea tilted his head, He thought that Armus was both of thier mothers. He was confused why was she going with the others? All the young ones were....was he to go too?"

He started to follow Aras when she started to leave not sure what else to do.

Ruque smiled brightly and nodded, taking Kanis's hand happily.

"I'm glad to walk with you," he told her softly. "You're the nicest of all of us."

Armus laughed and scooped Rhea up in her arms. "Not you," she giggled at him. "You stay here with us, and maybe by the time Aras comes back you'll be able to talk more with her."

Aras giggled and waved at Rhea. "Byebye!" she said brightly, but slightly sadly. "I'll see you next week again!"

And she scampered off after her parents and siblings.

"Ruran! Come on!" she called out to him. "We're going home!"

Kanis shook her head, "Now that is not true...I think your the nicest one of all of us, even Corrah, Armus and Rhea...your even nicer than mom and dad." she walked holding his hand. She really wish she knew how to help him feel better about himself.

Ruran grabbed the nearest rock ready to throw it at Aras. He almost hated her more that he hated his mother. He threw the rock against the log where his mother had been sitting and moved to follow his parents.

Rhea yipped as he was picked up and looked up at Armus his tail wagging against her shirt. He turned back and saw Aras waving. He looked at his hand then tilting his head waved it back at Aras.

Maybe they were learning to be a hunting pack? Then what would he do? He whimpered softly and huffed against his mother's arm licking her warm skin slowly.

Ruque giggled softly, slightly embarrassed by her words.

"I meant, you're the nicest to me," he said softly as they walked. "Well ... Aras isn't mean ... she just kind of doesn't pay any attention to me ... but Ruran's mean. He's always mean, though ... to everyone."

Aras grinned at Rhea and turned to run after her parents.

Armus hugged Rhea close. She knew the poor boy had to be confused. She only hoped that he would be all right.
