Selene cringed at Clooney's words before glaring at him her eyes a passionate glowing violet, she was finally getting a chance to speak out.
"Fairly, none of you know fair play. It was not fair to have taken this land, to have killed my pack! The young, the old, the weak and strong. Except...except me, I live now enslaved here, a terrible reminder. I hope no other shares my fate. As for your lords, I hope the other packs turn on them. I wish for this Reign of Terror to end before it can go any further then what it has."
She let out a ragged sob and crouched lower waiting, watching, realizing the things she had said. How foolish to lash out, she was still surrounded by them, enslaved and beneath them. Her words would not earn her a sweet death or peace, only further humiliations and torment.
Chernabog grinned and let Selene have her say before turning back to his pack eyes cold and gleaming. "We must all do our best...to ensure Selene's wish...DOESN'T come true."

Valdis walked past a purple wolf in the trees and kept listening to the on goings of the small 'court' meeting. Though her eyes did go to the lashing out of the small one next to the bleeding pup. Ah, that blood it smelled sweet and the bit she tasted was.
With a shake of her head, slinging some blood off her muzzle onto a nearby tree and whoever was close enough for the spray. The brown and black wolfess looked back up towards Chernabog, and then back down towards Selene.
Aw, she had so much emotions rolling off of her, the tattered maw quivered slightly in a subdued smile. Fair play, the moon spotted female still had feelings and no marks on her showing physical abuse.
"No fair play? I don't see a single scar upon your hide, I think your capture is being too fair to you," a display of her fangs in a brief smile, "If you were mine to look after, your hide would be dismantled and you would be missing some juicy muscles." Valdis, didn't care who listened in to the conversation, it was there out in the open for all to here, though she had made her way to where she wasn't but maybe ten feet from Selene. Then she started to walk back around.

Riko tilted her head tot he side as the female wolf walked past her. Valdis had been her name. She looked up at the female that had apparently been from the other pack that had lived here and everyone else had apparently killed off to take over the land. That was nice. She was in a strong clan. Now that she would be able to feed often and not have to fight against other clans as she tried to catch something on their land or have to deal with other lone wolves fighting her off. She listened to the rant that the female slave said and then looked to Valdis as she spoke. Riko agreed. The female should be marked to show her low rank and the fact that she wasn't free from them.
But Riko didn't feel like speaking this aloud. She wasn't sure she should right now cause Valdis seemed keen on attacking those that annoyed her, or just anyone in general, and the rest of the pack might not be too keen on her speaking her mind since she was newer then the others.

The red eye looked back through the small gathered crowd, a bunch of fools in her book all just seemingly hanging onto the Bone-head's words. All but the seer, she just sat there quiet and unmoved, an ear moved back before the bloody brown and black wolfess moved to trace her small growing trail of blood droplets.
That was when Valdis came back towards the purple female, name unmentioned, but cold red eye and what one would assume the blue eye was looking at.
"You don't seem like anyone other member in this 'Court'," word spoken with so much sarcasm it could almost be counted as not even a mockery. Observation, every other member, save for the blue male (Hope), radiated some sort of self righteousness, this female, just was sitting there.

Riko looked at the female in front of her. She didn't move anything but her head so that she could get a better view of the female as she took in what she said to her. Was it such a bad thing that she wasn't like the other wolves here, on the outside at least. "Is it a problem that I'm not like the other members? Just cause i don't look like them doesn't mean i can't hold my own in a fight. Am i not allowed to be passive on whats going on. Its been a long while since i was around other wolves and if you have a problem with how I'm watching everyone here and taking in the way the pack deals with everything and learning my place then let me know how you would want me to act and i will remember not to act anything like that." She said with a monotoned voice as she stared at the other female with the two colored eyes. "Is that ok with you?" she asked, she shifted a little, after not moving this entire time, and curled her tail around her feet. She hoped this didn't upset the other female so much that she would attack her, just enough to show her she wasn't a push over and that she could handle her self. She wasn't causing any problems right? So she should be fine with watching what was going on. She didn't feel like she should add her opinion in put into this conversation that she knew nothing of what might have happened already and she didn't know the circumstances on how they came about living on this land. Though it sounded like a hostile take over and this wolf in front of them with their leader was the only survivor.

Feros panted hard as his paws pounded the ground and his breath was heavy. 'I'm late!' he thought frantically as he ran towards the pack meeting. 'Chernabog is gonna kill me...no worse' his mind told him as he ran across, the wind buffeted his fur and small body, almost throwing him of course, but he held strong and ran for his life (literally). As he neared the meeting, his heart pounded outside of his chest, even outside of his body. He got close to the jaggged rock terrain. He heard the voices of other wolves talking amongst one another, and he hoped he could sneak in without being noticed. "I doubt it..." he murmured to himself barely audible.

Youth was a flavor quick to encourage any tongue. And to what level of greater knowledge did their speech carry them? None. Nothing had yet been voiced that could not have been surmised by the patient eye. How simple things were to sort into important, and not.
Undeniably, though, this meeting did prove of some service. It showed distinctly the character and soul of every wolf present, or not, she noted with the appearance of a pup into the mix.
Particular attention was intended to be cast upon the slave and her sufferings. Despite the talk of physical wounds, even Meskeet knew the best pain was that which didn't scar the flesh. And she was willing to bet Clooney was aware of this as well. All the better.
Valdis was perhaps the most promising prospect. She, at least, could easily put herself apart from the others, and every detail about her seemed to flow perpetually towards a far greater goal. Sometimes even the the simplest of things were actually the best treasures. This ragged female could prove to have more in common with the seer than any other wolf in Telk. But were two of a card really necessary? Perhaps, if fate danced the way it flirted.

Chernabog jerked up and growled softly, he brooked only so much tardiness. He snarled at Riko and the pup that was to be her charge. "If you cannot run swiftly enough to join us, or if you do not find the pack meeting of import, then do not interrupt it by barging in at the end!"
"The next time I expect everyone who is going to participate to be here on time. If someone is late, then our meeting shall turn into a little hunt...and if you lack the intelligence to realize what kind of hunt then I suggest you hide away and not attend at all. These matters are serious, other packs have begun to whisper about us, they begin to fear...fear is not always good. The more afraid they are, the more easily they lash out. You must all train, you must all be aware of your surroundings, we will be feared, but we will have control over it."
He growled softly as he finished off his speech and threw the pup, and pup-sitter a dirty look. "That will be all, we shall meet once more when the lords have completed their work, we wish them luck." He nodded and turned to shove Selene back into the jagged stone den.

Feros kept his head low, he should not have ventured out so far, no matter what. He should have stuck with Riko..uh-oh. He could not help but leave though, the shadows were drawing him near, and they made his heart pound.
Feros listened carefully to Chernabog 'I will train hard' he thought as he went to Chernabog himself. "Chernabog..may you teach me some battle moves, and how to fight and defend?" he asked boldly but still subordinately. Feros did not want to train with anyone else, cause thy all basically treated him as he was a newborn and had no patience for him.
Feros had always felt the intention of being left out. Not only by his pack but by a force that would pull him into the darkness. Into the depths of the never ending shadows. He would dream...dream of them and that wolf whom would control the shadows.

Chernabog turned and frowned, his displeasure with the pup, and his keeper. He frowned at Riko slightly and tipped his head towards the pup as if telling her to handle him. He turned his back and headed into the den with a soft growl.
"Perhaps when you learn to respect the pack enough to be on time, you will be worthy of being taught...PUP." With that the alpha had dismissed the pack.
He would call them all together once moons had passed, once the lords had completed their tasks, and give all a chance again. He was pleased with many, but he saw little things that irked him, ranks that needed to be shifted. Worst was the youth, Chernabog had no patience for Feros cocky attitude, not Khorigan's foolishness. He would force them to grow up, or he would toss them by their scruffs away from his domain.
