And apprently being selfish and picking your life over your baby is ok too 3:.
Honestly..
I wish I could slap some sense into these people.. I might pick my life over that of my child. I'm not sure. It depends on the circumstances, and I've never been there. But really, it comes down to person being philosophical, and human being scientific. Scientifically, you can't deny that a fetus is a human organism. Philosophically? It's up for debate. Which is what makes me giggle whenever I hear, "They don't use science!" I like when they call feti parasites and site an ancient layman's dictionary as a source. Unfortunately, "L2 biology" doesn't work, because they still "found it in a book".

Why do they have an arguement now of "omg are you pro - using a baby as punishment"
That's getting irritating too.. I think that comes from one of Barack Obama's speeches. Some people take it out of context, though. He meant that he didn't want his children to be punished for not receiving or having access to proper education and preventive measures. (That it would be sad that a 15 year old girl would get pregnant when she was never taught how to use birth control and be careful) It's been around longer than that. When you say, "If you had sex you should accept the consequence and have the baby," they say "You want to punish her for having sex by making her have a baby!" The baby becomes punishment. Because I'm all about punishing women for having sex. If I became ruler of the world, I would stick every woman who ever had sex with some child in the adoption system just to punish them. Two birds with one stone!

lymelady Because I'm all about punishing women for having sex. If I became ruler of the world, I would stick every woman who ever had sex with some child in the adoption system just to punish them. Two birds with one stone! Would this be for having sex in general, or one baby for every time you have sex? Does masturbation count?
....Because I could completely clean out every orphanage on the planet... eek

We force people to have and keep babies. But didn't you also know that sex isn't the main cause of pregnancy? In fact it doesn't cause it. (I still can't help but laugh at that).

Aw, but getting out of hand is fun!
And yes. Sex doesn't ever lead to pregnancy. Ever. Pregnancy happens when a mommy and daddy pray really really hard to God and God says, "oh, wow, they really want a baby! Let me send one along," and then 9 months later a bird shows up at the door with a cabbage in its beak and a baby sprouts from the cabbage.
True story.
