Alekxiel sighed, and inhaled Ichi's scent, finding it comforting as well. "It's alright, I'm fine. As long as I don't think about how high up we are..." He gulped nervously as he said this, screwing his eyes shut.
The ride seemed to be stuck or something, because the conducters were running around like ants on the ground, and pointing at the machine as though there was something wrong.

"Do you want me to take you down?" He asked, closing his eyes. He could hear the conductors below screaming at one another about what was going on. "Because it seems as though we'll be up here a while." Ichi sighed, not liking the idea of being stuck in one place for too long.

"Would getting down involve falling in any way, shape, or form? Because if that's the case, then no...." He whimpered, as he broke his own rule, and looked down. What he saw did NOT comfort him at all.

"If you close your eyes and hold tightly we can jump and you won't feel a thing." Ichi reassured him. Rubbing Alekxiel's shoulder lightly he let off a soft sigh, looking over the edge as well. "Climbing down would take us longer unfortunately.."

"Or, we could stay up here.... maybe it would be for the best if I fight this fear of mine... less advantage to the enemy." Alekxiel reasoned. Given the choice between an action that his mind deemed suicidal, and the relative safety of the unmoving ride, he was prone to stagnation; that was, he would rather do nothing than to risk falling.
"And besides... jumping from a hieght like this would be suicidal. What if we caught something on the way down? At the very least, we might fall on a civilian - and I have no orders that state that casualties are accepted."
