Addison finally reached the ice cream shop. Getting on the line that was winding between the tables from the counter, she hitched her bag of books up higher on her shoulder and kept her eyes open for teachers who might be stocking up on supplies for the classroom or her friends.
Finally reaching the counter, she asked for a small cup of chocolate ice cream and, paying the woman at the counter, she sat at a table in the shade of an umbrella, slipping her bag of books onto the chair next to her and digging through it to find the book that had caught her eye in the bookshop. Finding it after a few minutes' search, she laid it on the table and opened it, reading quickly as she ate her ice cream.

Leila walked past a girl reading and eating her ice cream and stood in line for her ice cream. She was carrying her purchase of books and she was slightly tired. Carrying all those books with no Levitation Charm on them can tired anyone out. "I wish Mom was here now. Or at least Malik." Leila murmured out from all the weight of the books. She was waiting for 5 minutes when she couldn't handle it anymore and placed all the books gently down onto the ground. She was shrugging her shoulders, working out the kinks, when she took in her surroundings. She notice the girl who was reading was still there, deeply into the book. There were very little people out but that doesn't take away the homey feeling of Diagon Alley.
When it was her turn at the counter, she couldn't decide on what to get. She wanted something new but she was craving for something she was use to. She was looking between the 'normal' flavors and the 'abnormal' flavors. The people behind her were starting to get a little impatient, the clerk was also starting to get a little impatient. But Leila finally decided on what she wants.
Just as she was about to tell the clerk what she wants, someone from the back of the line yelled for her to hurry her 'bloody arse' up. Leila stood still for a moment before slowly turning back towards whoever yelled. "Why don't you be quiet so I can get what I want over and done with? Maybe then you can learn to be patient. So instead, why don't you shove it? It would do us all a good favor." Normally Leila would never say something like this in public, but no one, not even her family, tells her to move her 'bloody arse'.
Turning back to the clerk at the counter, his face pale and wide, Leila gave her order of a cookie and cream cone. When the clerk gave her the cone and her change, Leila grabbed her books and stomped off, her good mood vanishing and only a glare remains on her face. She didn't feel like facing Madam Malkin at her current moment. She took a seat far away from everyone else and followed what the other girl was doing. She took out a book and start to read while eatting her cone. It wasn't until 30 or so mintues later that she noticed the time and she was late to see Madam Malkin.
Rushing through the last of her cone, she ran off only to come back to grab her package of books before going to see Madam Malkin.
