Llune can't hear what's being said, the others are a little distance from where she's posted up under basket leaves so she can't make out the conversation, but she's left her happy send open.

When she sees the little elfess stumble, Llune stands and her send takes on the concern of a parent, which blends nicely with Dancer's care of little Dewpaw, and moves a bit to arrange some of the broad leaves to make a pallet in the shade for the new elf.

As Savith kneels to lift the little one, Llune's mind flicks gently in his direction to inform him of the resting spot, though it's more an image than any specific words or suggestions. She is concerned and unsure of what the situation truly is, but wants to be helpful all the same and has a feeling (mother's intuition?) that the little elfess will need a spot to rest.

After the little one is lain down, Llune moves closer to her son, but still manages to miss the tyke's words, as she went to fill one of the ladle baskets before turning to the group. Her send was still open, comforting and concerned, and she also managed to send very quietly, **She is okay?**

Blaze had shut up at Dancers righteous thrashing, and stopped before he got very close. He planted his staff in the sand and shifted his wieght uncomfotably as the others talked, trying to contain his agregssion. He was not used to being opposed like this; but then again he was not the chief here. Responding to no-one, he bowed his head in what would look to most like shame, but it was only to hide his rage.

Llune's calming send helped Blaze collect himself, and after he had calmed himself enogh he realized what he had done. Bringing his mind under controll, his send was uncharacteristcally soft, almost sad. **I am ashamed of myself, and what I carry. Please, I meant no harm to anyone. I was afraid... and I let myself go again. If there is anything I can do to right this wrong, tell me, and I will do it. I am so very sorry.**

He dropped his rugged frame to one knee with the grace of a bag of bricks, a sign of defeat and subservience. It had been over 300 years since he'd last assumed this pose by his own will. He pounded a fist into the sand, and sore seeminly to himself. "Damn you."

She had heard parts of the exchange from where she was in the forest above the cliffs. She sent privately to Savith to see if she should return, the news traveling of yet another found. Savith for now had things under control, and she would return at the setting of the sun when she had the supplies she needed for the task at hand.

Llune's response to Blaze's send was a flick of her mind in his direction, so much akin to a gentle squeeze of the shoulders, comforting and understanding and accepting of his apology.

For the moment, though, she hovered over everyone and watched, trying desperately to anticipate if anyone might need anything so that she could take care of it lickety-split.

Dancer took a long deep breath. This Blaze gave her nothing to like thus far. His drop to the knee only seemed to rub her the wrong way as well. She wasn't looking for anyone to bow to or for anyone to bow to her. She made her way to stand in front of him. "Get up" Was all she said and walked away. If he wanted to make her friendship it would be hard. If he wanted to say anything to her he would either follow or send to her. At this point she didn't care if he did either...

Those two words were more of a punishment than any beating Dancer could have delivered with her hands. A blow he could have understood and respected, but this passive-aggression was maddeningly effective. She gave him no fuel, no ground to stand on. It was like fighting water; drowning for him. Rising to his feet, he lock-sent to her in the same quiet, broken tone. **What do you want of me? Tell me how I can fix what I have been so industriously breaking! I am a warrior, nothing more, nothing less. I need a cause, a mission; for without a cause I am nothing but a murderer.**

The send moved swiftly as sends do to Dancers mind and it made her stop. Turning on one foot to look right at Blaze she sent back to him. **Nearly everyone here is warrior at some point in his or her training or life. You are not special for that. Your need for a cause shows a lack of control over yourself. Something to take your anger out on. Grow up. Learn to think before you act. A good warrior knows that. Who did you think would hear your send? A five finger? A wild animal? No, us. I am not as old as most here but I am not as young as the youth over there. You sent everyone reeling.** Yes this one has had enough of the throbbing head for one day. Her send was angry and filled with images of what he had done to the cub, Savith even herself. Though her face didn't show the pain of the send before her mind ached. It was the need to remain calm for the young one that kept her under control. Her send at this moment had bite to it. Like an angry animal. **You want a cause then? Make your cause the survival of all. Make your cause the protection of the group and finding things we need to survive. If nothing else make your goal to learn some self control.** With that said she waited only a heartbeat for a response then turned to walk away again. He didn't fix the problem in her mind and she didn't feel he would anytime soon.

Llune watches, hovering, as the new elf is laid down. Once Dance and Savith move away, she moves in, sitting by the sleeping elfess and looking her over to see if there are any definite injuries. It seems as though there are not.

The little elf's - what're they called - oh yes, 'bond' is sitting near her sleeping form, and Llune grins in its direction, "It'll be okay, bond-pup, we will all take care of your friend." She says, offering her fingers for a sniff so that the animal may get to know her.

She looks down into the sleeping face and wonders what hardships this little one had endured before reaching them. Llune gently pushes a lock of mussed hair from the wee one's face and smile/sighs contentedly. Their little group is growing, and of all different kinds of elves, from all different places, with all different cultures.

Llune idly wonders what this little elf is like and glances around the folks in the area . There's quiet Savith who is strong and in-charge. Bubbly Peyote who's all sunshine and attitude. Relim who's oh-so-much a ladies man. Blaze who's got an incredible amount of pent up agression but whose heart is in the right place. Starsong, who seems as quiet and strong as Savith, but a lot more antisocial. And MidnightDancer who's got a big pretty kitty and is alternately kind and agressive, a mix of Llune and Blaze in a way. What will Dewpaw be like? She's so young, she's got so much potential to be so many different things. Is she playful? Quiet? Mean? Irritating? Impossible to tell, because at the moment she's just a little sleeping angel.

Awwwww. Llune's such a mommy.

Blaze was reeling from the images and complete truth in Dancer's send. There was a cub now, he had hurt her, and it plagued him like a swarm of flies. What if the next time he lost it, he left damage? Then there would be no forgiveness then, only blood for blood. He could not allow that to happen.

Turning on his heel, he headed for the back of the cove, where the cliffs magnified the sun's heat and a pocket of hot air was shielded from the wind. He could almost see it, pulsing like some transparent jellyfish, sending out tendrils to meet him. As he walked into the heat his spirits lifted again, and he opened his mind to the sensation. The heat flowed into him, and he began to let it play around him, and coalesce. Then a sudden wave of rage hit him; an urge to maim, to burn, and he felt a devious, tempting concience trying to gain hold. Locking his mind closed, he stared darkly at empty space, letting the heat dissapate back into the air. The heat he could control, but something more than the heat wanted him, and it knew him too well for him to resist forever. He would have to live with it for now, constantly on-guard.
