If you guys get a PM from sariaktpq, about cheap items it is a scam. The link will lead you to ripway. I checked it out on a mule account that I made recently to check out any suspicious links. The link was a gaia link or at least what it showed was until I looked at the address in the address bar.
I will bring it upon myself to create a thread with scam types and the names of scammers.
Edit: Where would I put this in the main forums? Would it go in a specific subforum?

I got a scam quite recently (THREE TIMES D wink stating that the Mods have received a message or something about free items (or something...?) and that this person could give me a link to somewhere where I could somehow get this information.
Yeah, it was your usually manure of a male bovine but with a nice lil' twist. xD

Of course, it would be easier to just remember not to click on stuff PMed to you by random strangers. Kinda like how kids are told not to take candy from strangers. It might seem like a nice gesture, but is never really is. Except on Halloween. mrgreen

Good thinking about creating a mule like that. Thanks for the warning too. Keep up the good work.

Sometimes it's quite fun to recieve a scam mail. I always reply back with fake stuff. Ex: Username: Sole_stealer Email Adress: HellokittyandMasterchief4ever@yahoo.com Password: Barbieiswin
But I don't recieve so much anymore.

I'm fond of the ripway hackers. I give fake ones like: Username: OMG_U Password: r_a_moron
Username: Howdy_Hi Password: Scammer Guy

Scammers are especially fun to taunt.
Criticize their technique, they'll ask for advice.

Scammers are fairly fun to taunt.
For my password, I generally go with "uoYoTnOmAIOMG" which, when you reverse it is "OMG I am on to you" XD

Agh, I'm not good enough for them. I've probably gotten one scam PM in my entire time on Gaia, including other accounts. Sheesh, I feel left out when people say they got one of those. wink
