Heyo! I just joined the WoW community three days ago, and I'm loving it. I'm rocking the Area 52 server with a friend of mine, And I just dinged 7 last night as an Orc Warrior. Anybody got any tips or that would like to join us? cool

My tip to you is just to have fun, don't worry about how good you are, how good your items are or how fast you level as long as your enjoying it that's the main thing. smile

I had a guildie recent take a pause to work on his character hordeside on Area 52 and help his new sister in law. They're leveling together so it's probably impossible to catch him sadly.

But, have fun, take your time and read. I found leveling my first character to be the best even though she was the slowest.

Yeah have fun, took me ages to level, maybe because I did everything available to me, I tried out all the instances etc. Had a fun time doing it too, just enjoy yourself!

All great tips you guys. Thanks for your support. I'm bouncing in between and Undead Warlock, and an Orc Warrior. I'm just trying to figure out what kinda playstyle best suits me, and what races story I like the most. But I gotta say, I love the Horde. Not just like you know some random tard that screams "FOR THE HORDE!!!". >.> I've played Warcraft I-III and I've loved the storyline. Although, I gotta admit, it did take me up until Warcraft II to be sold on the horde. redface

Be a Warlock, after WotLK comes out no one will make warriors because they will be playing Death Knights, they both havde the same concept. Also, make sure you read up on the kind of things your character needs so you aren't one of the noobs who have no idea what they are doing.

Like many people have said, have fun with it. If it turns out later on that you're just really not enjoying the warrior class, try something else! It's not like you have to level everything to 70 in order to get the feel for it.

Also, I'm not familiar with Area 52 and what type of server it is, but I recommend trying everything. Do instances, pvp until your eyes bleed, do every quest you can get your hands on. Find out what it is about wow that you really love the most. ;D Once you figure that out, you're set.

Also, gear doesn't really matter until I'd say around the 30-40 are if you're a tank. I don't care what anyone tells you, gear always matters...just don't go broke because of it.

Also, if you're really serious about being a warrior, play with the talent calculators offered at wowhead.com or on the world of warcraft website. ;D It'll help you get a feel for what you want your warrior to do.

And don't worry about having to respec, everyone ends up doing it at least 100 times...and if they're not, well they're just idiots who don't know their class XD

If you spend time looking carefully at the talents when you hit the cap and work with online trees, you don't really have to respec more than once. I'd hate to be called an idiot for spending more time carefully picking talents than going for the 100-respec-trial-and-error method.

Also, contrary to popular belief, you actually aren't supposed to have fun. Blizzard is run by sadists.

Welcome to WoW. Glad you're loving it.

As everyone said, have fun, if you join a good guild they can help you with basic questions and things like that.

Remember the game never truly ends so don't kill yourself getting to 70/80.

I would join you but I have too many accounts to keep track of as it is, maybe that will change though. =]
