"No signature poses just yet," she said with a light laugh. Usually models weren't able to develop their signature pose until they gained enough fame to make the post 'their own' and their trademark. "Hopefully I won't ever get too skinny then," she teased. She never had too much of a problem keeping fit - she rather enjoyed exercise. But she always worried that if she did get enough fame to really make it in the business that she wouldn't have the time to exercise and would be one of those models snorting lines on the toilet seat to lower their appetite and keep pencil-thin. Considering her family history, it was probably likely that she will end up like that, but she could try to avoid it.

"So, Riley, do you have any style of dance that you prefer? Or do you just do all types of dance?" Ana was rather curious, she only knew of a few types of dance. She could salsa dance pretty well - her father had taught her. It was a big part of her latina culture and heritage.

"I've been formally trained in a number of styles, but I started to focus on jazz and ballet and combining the two. Ballet is fun because you get these long, streched out moves and graceful poses and it tells a story, but I also love jazz because of how fast everything is. I learned about jazz ballet somewhere online," she laughed, thinking it was a little odd to learn new things by doing random searches. "And I started to dabble in it."

Riley shrugged her dark shoulders. "Although, I'm not sure how useful that'll be. The agency said they set up a..." What was the word they had used? "'Gig' for me, and I don't think I have any choice on what I do in it. But really, any exposure is good right now, right?"

She sighed and shook her head. "But, partner dancing? I haven't danced WITH someone else in ages. What if they're no good?"

"Well, I think that as long as you are good, it doesn't matter too much about your partner?" Ana wasn't really sure if she believed her own words there. In modelling, that somewhat applied. If the design she had to wear was hideous, if she flaunted it well, then her performance was still good and that's what mattered. But she wasn't sure if it would work the same way in dance. "So what type of gig are you doing? Are you excited for it? And do you know your partner?" Ana didn't mean to ask so many questions, but she was rather curious - she didn't know much about dancing.

Riley pulled her leg up behind her, pulling on it a little. She felt her muscles starting to tighten a little, she hadn't really had a chance to cool down after her short workout.

"Oh, I guess I'm a little excited," she answered. "I just picked up a package from the office, it's supposed to have the details and stuff." She laughed. "I didn't open it yet, I guess I can still imagine it'll be something fantastic if I don't open it. But..." Riley crossed the room to her workout back on the floor and pulled the small box out and brought it back over to where Ana was. "Guess I have to look at it sometime."

Slipping her nail under the tape, she peeled it back and reached her hand in. Out came two dvds and Riley looked at them curiously.

"Um...'Mousse' and 'Homecoming Dance-off'? What?" Under the movies sat a letter, which she unfolded and read quicky, her nose wrinkling more and more as she did.

"It...ah...It's a dance competition." She looked up from the letter at Ana, trying to hide her distaste. "My partner is the guy in these movies," she held up the two dvds. "And they recommend I familarize myself with his 'style'." She reskimmed it. "He picked the dance too. We'e going to be dancing the salsa." She cringed internally, it was almost cliched.

"Oh. My. GOD. Chica, do you know who that IS?" exclaimed Ana, regressing into the maturity a twelve-year-old girl squealing over a crush. She recognized those two movies instantly as having one star in common. "Its Zip Afron, the cutest, dreamiest boy ever! When you meet him, you MUST flirt with him for me, give him my number!" Ana was about to look for pen and paper to give Riley her number to forward to Zip before she stopped herself, realizing her own childlike behavior. She was about two seconds away from admitting she had a poster of him stashed away in her closet. "I mean, I'm totally just kidding, you don't really have to do all that," Ana lied with an awkward laugh.

"So...dance competition, doing the salsa...with Zip Afron," she swooned each time she said or heard the name. "Sounds sexy. Sounds spicy. I will definitely have to see it!" Ana loved salsa dancing, it was part of her Latina heritage after all. She began to fantasize about dancing with Zip Afron herself, dancing wildly in front of millions of people, finding themselves in an assortment of risqué dancing positions, then after the dance: a nice romantic dinner followed by a steamy experience at home - Ana snapped out of it and turned back to Riley, recomposing herself again.
