*is incredibly confused about and saddened by the arguing, but shall move on to the point of the topic*
Favorite art styles: I really like dark-themed, angular, smooth, stylized anime (stylized here meaning you could tell it apart from the work of millions of other people)... At the same time, I really like sketchy, half-finished looking things because they let imagination fill in the gaps and have a certain romance about them. And, at the risk of droning, I also really enjoy well-done realism (i.e. my mom's astounding work, which always looks to me like a photograph...but prettier).
Favorite writing styles: Dramatic--poetic (even in literature). I enjoy extremely varied word choice (and attempt to write with as much variation as possible)... Avoiding the word "said" is a huge plus for me... There are certain words that always work for me as a reader (i.e. "hollow," "dancing," "fiery," "eternity"). Humanitarian, emotional writing makes me happy. By humanitarian, I mean from a very involved, passionate point of view (the emotion that defines the human mind must be constantly present in something I read for pleasure). I definitely prefer long books (gothic romance and horror novels= heart )
