Speaking of lessons, does anyone have any experience with the Rosetta Stone language program? They claim that it is the most effectual way to learn a new language but I have not worked with it so I don't have anything to comment on.

Has anyone reviewed this product?

To keep it really short, excellent supplement, but not, I repeat NOT a replacement for classroom lessons

i recieved a demo in the mail once. it's actually pretty helpful, what they do is give you a screen with four pictures and they have lables on them, and they say the words. also, they have a vocal pronunciation practice where you can hook up a microphone to your computer, and then try to say a word. then you can see the sound wave and compare it to the actual speaker. it's pretty cool, it's a good program for people who associate pictures and sounds together.

I have it.
You could use iKnow instead....
So I wouldn't even call it an excellent supplement when there's what some consider to be a better and more convenient alternative...
